This movie is a nearly copycat of another film: La volante, released just one year earlier, and also with Nathalie Baye in the opposite role, the one played here by Emmanuelle Devos.
Based on the best-seller by Tatiana de Rosnay, the author of "Sarah's Key".
There was a Japanese movie made in 1966 named Hikinige - Hit and Run - which had the nearly same scheme, where a woman's son was killed by a hit and run woman driver. Then the killed kid's mother became the driver's maid to get revenge.
