Barbara Kean
- [Jim Gordon walks into Barbara Kean's bar]
- Barbara Kean: [Barb smiles uncontrollably] Oh... my... God.
- James Gordon: Hello, Barbara.
- Barbara Kean: 'Hello, Barbara'? Is that all I get?
- James Gordon: [Gordon hesitates] How you been?
- Barbara Kean: [Barbara smiles] Oh. How've I been? Well, see for yourself. I mean, it's no art gallery, but there's less chance of me dying of boredom.
- [Barbara Kean meets Valerie Vale]
- Barbara Kean: How's Lee?
- James Gordon: We're not together.
- Barbara Kean: No. I thought by now you would've chased her down, put a ring on it. Did you dump her? Oh, I bet you dumped her, didn't you? You're such a heartbreaker.
- Valerie Vale: I feel like I walked into something.
- Barbara Kean: [Barb turns to Valerie] 'Cause you did. Who are you?
- Valerie Vale: Valerie Vale. I work for The Gazette. We're working on a project.
- Barbara Kean: [Barb whispers] I bet. She your new girlfriend?
- James Gordon: No.
- Valerie Vale: No.
- [Barb chuckles]
- [Valerie Vale remembers Barbara Kean from the papers]
- Valerie Vale: Oh, wait, I remember this. You kidnapped him and his girlfriend, held them hostage in a church. Aren't you supposed to be in Arkham?
- Barbara Kean: I was, but turns out I'm totally sane. Got a paper proving it.
- Valerie Vale: Yeah. Signed by Hugo Strange.
- [Barbara Kean offers Selina Kyle's whereabouts to Jim Gordon but only for a kiss]
- James Gordon: Selina, have you seen her?
- Barbara Kean: [Barb leans into Jim Gordon] A kiss. That's my price.
- Valerie Vale: Is she serious? Are-are you serious?
- Valerie Vale: [Valerie whispers behind Gordon] Do it.
- James Gordon: [Gordon pauses before backing away] Never mind.
- Barbara Kean: [Barb sighs] You're honestly no fun.
- [Barbara Kean tells Jim Gordon that she had a dream about him]
- Barbara Kean: Jim. I had a dream about you the other night. You were in this horrible accident, and you lost both of your legs, and then I had to push you around in a giant baby carriage.
- James Gordon: Good seeing you, Barbara.
