On their shows "Demo Disk" and "Wheelhaus", the cast frequently look up disturbing sexually explicit fan art related to whatever game they're playing as a comedic device. There is little sexual content since the content is blurred in post and the cast seem to pick the most unappealing/disturbing pieces for their shock value and are visibly disgusted with what they see.

The cast also play poorly made sex games on occasion (with all the objectionable content blurred out) with the same purpose as Mystery Science Theater 3000 would watch a poorly made sexploitation movie.

Funhaus does play violent video games on occasion.

Much like other Rooster Teeth channels, Funhaus contains uncensored expletives in almost every video.

While not promoting or glamorizing drinking, some videos consist of drinking games based around video games.

Upon the release of the Labo for the Switch, Funhaus had a "weed stream", where they took hits from a THC e-cigarette in between playing minigames. Funhaus is filmed in California,where marijuana is legal, but they by no means glamorized its usage during the video.

Sometimes games designed to be scary are played on the channel. A number of the games are genuinely quite frightening, either utilizing jump scares or atmospheric horror (or both) and the cast's reactions reflect that.
