The Heidi Lovelace (Dori Elizabeth Prange)-Joe Pittman match went to a no-contest when the contingent of heel factions that would come to be known as the Flood interrupted the show, with Die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes member Nokken chokeslamming Heidi, who had Pittman locked in the CHIKARA Special and was on the verge of winning the La Copa Idolo, a title in Billy Roc's Ring of Champions promotion. This followed from the tearing down of the various Wrestling Is.. promotions (Wrestling Is Cool [destroyed by the BDK], Wrestling Is Intense [destroyed by GEKIDO], Wrestling Is Art [destroyed by Sinn Bodhi, leader of the Odditorium], Wrestling Is Respect [destroyed by the Wrecking Crew] and Wrestling Is Awesome [destroyed by Dr. Cube's Posse.]) Ring of Champions was formerly known as Wrestling Is Heart, which, along with Wrestling Is Fun!, were the only Wrestling Is... promotions not torn down by the Flood.
After the Baltic Siege (The Estonian Thunderfrog/The Latvian Proud Oak/The Lithuanian Snow Troll) defeated the Bloc Party (Mr. Azerbaijan/The Proletariat Boar of Moldova/The Brown Morning of Belarus), the Estonian Thunderfrog smashed the Brown Morning of Belarus with his Hammer of Peace, thus killing off the character.
The Submission Squad (Evan Gelistico and Gary the Barn Owl (Gary Jay)) were the first to confront the Flood, saying that if they wanted to destroy CHIKARA, they would have to go through them. The Flood took out the Squad. Icarus (Ronald Grams) led a group of CHIKARA wrestlers out (Dasher Hatfield, the Colony, Hallowicked and Wrestle Factory students Kid Cyclone (Kevin Condron), Create-A-Wrestler II and Equinox III.) One of the men in plague masks was unmasked as Jimmy Jacobs (Christopher Scoville). assailant (Nelson Ortiz), who had been a founding member of GEKIDO back in 2012 but was switched to the Colony by evil incompetent Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur, refused to rejoin his former allies and stayed on the CHIKARA side. GEKIDO member 17 was pulled back through a curtain (In 2018, Ophidian revealed that he had infiltrated the Flood as the second 17, thus making it necessary for him to be pulled through a curtain so he could unmask as himself later). Jimmy Jacobs said that the group he assembled was much bigger and stronger than the CHIKARA side. Then Dr. Cube's minions unmasked to reveal CHIKARA regulars UltraMantis Black, "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti, Frightmare (Stephen Delicato), Los Ice Creams, the Osirian Portal (Amasis (Desean Pratt) and Ophidian), Jervis Cottonbelly, the Swamp Monster and Blind Rage (Timothy P. Vassa). Then a DeLorean drove in and Archibald Peck (R.D. Evans) and 3.0 ("Big Magic" Shane Matthews (Matt Menard) and Scott Jagged Parker (Jeff Parker)) arrived in a DeLorean and Icarus held up a sign reading "5.25.14," saying, "We're coming back!," meaning that CHIKARA was returning.
Former nemeses Archibald Peck and "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti embraced, thus marking the end of their long feud, which, in the storyline, went back to their childhoods, with Angelosetti having been the bully who had tormented Peck.
The Drew Gulak-Colt Cabana (Scott Colton) match was a rematch from the final "Wrestling is Art" event, held on November 10, 2013. That match had gone to a double-pin draw. They wanted a few more minutes, but Sinn Bodhi (Nicholas Cvjetkovich) walked out with the Odditorium (Qefka the Quiet and Sir Oliver Grimsley (James Pash)), Dr. Cube and his minions and they shut down the promotion.
