A very cheap independent film made in Taiwan, NINJA SWORDS OF DEATH is notable for being filmed entirely out of doors, with a sky rendered white by the poor production values and image quality. The story is strictly routine and sadly the action even more so, without anything in the way of interest for action fans or aficionados of the genre.

The tale is your usual wuxia-derived one about a bad guy with a powerful sword and the wandering swordsman hero who steps up to fight him. Tien Peng is the erstwhile hero but doesn't have much to do other than stand around and look cool or chat with his companions, a fat bloke and a pretty girl. Elsewhere there's some unpleasant animal cruelty and a random lengthy tournament flashback included to up the action quotient. The worst thing about this film is that it wasn't dubbed by the usual English team in the East, instead by a bunch of American idiots using the dumbest, most exaggerated voices ever.
