Lobo was intended as a TV-Y7-FV show on Kids WB but was converted into a TV-MA web series because Lobo doesn't fit as the lead in a family-friendly show.
This is the very first adult oriented DC cartoon.
Lobo and Darlene Spritzer (named Darlene in the show) are the only characters to come from the comics.
