  • I could not stop following the story. Clearly not from the Hollywood minds that know how to entertain but are so alike that they produce more of the same constantly.

Waiting for the SciFi aspect will lead to disappointment -- it's nil.

Clearly very low budget, but the acting is good and the story involving.

For a one person's effort , it is very good. Misses polishing here and there, and there was an instance of tech hiccup or editing mistake -- did not interfere with the story. Could have been an issue at Tubi.
  • It is basically a political stand on the subject of illegal immigration into the USA across the Mexican border

It has nothing to do with science fiction or alien invasion stuff etc

Was it horrible? No, not really. Not a bad film.

BUT NOT IN ANY WAY SCI FI!! So friggin annoying.

So yeah if you're looking forward to a well done drama, sure. But if you expect to see an actual SCIENCE FICTION MOVIE.... this is NOT IT.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed the film. I love the dynamic between the main characters, it's so authentic and real. Beautifully shot and well-told story. I highly recommend checking it out when it becomes available!

This is a low budget Indie primo. Well done looking at it from an indie perspective. The characters develop, its a character based film. Sure theres the UFO theme, but not in the sense one would think. Love story more likely. The underdog gets the girl type of thing but so well done, I like it.
  • Some sources, including IMDB, put this film in that genre but it's just a straight drama, not science fiction. (The "aliens" referenced in the title refer to undocumented aliens crossing the US-Mexico border.) If someone watches this film expecting any kind of a science fiction movie, they will be very disappointed. No tech-talk, no action-packed starship battles in space, no goofy sound effects.

Otherwise, it's well produced for what it is. Well written; original story; real characters who are naturally developed and who evolve; wonderful cinematography. It is sometimes difficult when a director/producer stars in their own film, but there are great performances by all of the actors playing the main characters here. However, the poor performances by some of the supporting actors is somewhat distracting at times.

Overall, it's well worth the time if you like character-driven drama.

Triggers: violence, rape, racist language, crime, infidelity. Subtitles: extensive, up to 250+ wpm ,
  • Been watching TUBI on cable and they have more one star movies than any place I have found on the tube...but rarely you fine a jewel in their cinematic mineshaft...

This is one...Lead actor did it all...Wrote it, produced it, and directed this whimsical tale that takes a dark turn...

Stephanie Arcila (does lots of Spanish TV) is stellar as a coyote who gets too deep into the dark side of the desert...

Do, please do take some time to search out this flick...You will NOT be disappointed...
  • A very nice indie film. Most of the acting is good, the story moves along at a nice, steady, pace, it has good production values, and the film some deserves respect. I gave it an 8 for what it is - a good indie film. If this were some big budget film, my rating would be very different.
