The holiday season weighs heavily on Riggs, who flashes back to past Christmases with his late wife, Miranda. Murtaugh is also a little preoccupied with his neighbor's obnoxious holiday decorations.
- It's Christmas and Murtaugh has plans but the Captain calls him and Riggs who's been spending his time remembering his wife. A woman was killed and they learn she was in contact with a reporter who tells she was involved with a drug dealer and she was helping the reporter. So they think the drug dealer killed her. Riggs knows the man from Texas. They go to see him and he remembers Riggs, Riggs vows to get him. But as he is leaving the man says something about Riggs' wife's death which makes Riggs think the drug dealer knows something about it. Eventually they get proof that he killed her and they arrest him but the man has a contingency plan to make them release him and they are uncertain if they should give in.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
