Jerry Trainor, portraying Joey (in part one), appeared in other Nickelodeon productions created by Dan Schneider, previously starring as Spencer Shay in "iCarly," featured as Crazy Steve in "Drake & Josh" (later reprising the role in Sam & Cat), and appearing as an audience member in Victorious.
The car that the Thumb Buddies drive is the same car Jeff breaks into in the episode Jasper Danger.
