Before cast as Sento Kiryu or known as Kamen Rider Build, the main actor Atsuhiro Inukai was once auditioned for Kamen Rider Drive but lost to Ryoma Takeuchi.
In the press conference held for Kamen Rider Build, the main actor Atsuhiro Inukai mentioned that his favorite rider was Kamen Rider Kabuto and watched the series when he was in middle school.
During audition process , the main actor Atsuhiro Inukai applied for and received a motorcycle license. However since being cast, producers have prevented him from actually riding one while shooting due to safety concerns.
