This show had me hooked after two minutes. What sounds like a typical agent hunting serial killer, surprises with great characters, surprising turning points and amazing cast. I absolutely love every part of it.
I loved this show when I first watched it, but now after watching the final season I can't say the same.
The finale it ruined all the good parts about the show, the show used to be really good with great execution and with lots of fun and twists which was really exciting and thrilling to watch.
I think show was ruined because they changed/removed some good writers after season 2 like for example 'Phoebe Waller bridge', she really shaped up the first two seasons but the show started to lose it's spirit in season 3 although it was also somewhat good when compared with the previous seasons.
So if anyone who wants to try this show I really recommend not to watch the last season.

I love the show. INTRIGUING! Someone wrote that this was sloppy writing because there is no background on the characters. That's not true, if you pay attention you have everything you need. Eve is a MI5 investigator but she longs for more in her life, something trilling and something that gets her heart thumping. She secretly loves psychopaths, she wants to know how they work and why. It's a hobby of hers.
Villanelle is the psychopath. She has sociopathic tendencies. She mimics emotions because she has no empathy and we see her continuing to adapt to her surroundings (smiling with the child in the ice cream shop, laughing like the lady on the radio). That's what is odd and interesting about her character. Her drive is to kill people because she easily becomes bored with every day mundane tasks. They will become each others next obsession!
There are many good thrillers out there, where believability and plot are the keys to success but they all feel so similar. So here comes Killing Eve, where plots takes the second plane and the focus goes to the characters dinamic and their tongue-in-cheek dialogues, making this show feels different, fresh and entertaining and with an 8 episodes season it's short and sweet.

Sorry Sandra but in my mind Jodie is the star of this show - her performance is compelling. It could be argued that argued that the role of Eve was more difficult but Villanelle (love the name) was spectacularly portrayed by Jodie. Not once was I left doubting her character, whereas Eve's character growth was although skilful, in the end not convincing. The entire cast did a sterling job of keeping the magic happening. Script writers take a bow. Mood music great as well. Can we have some more please?

Killing Eve season one might be my favorite season of a show ever. It's just a magical experience. Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh are both sensational in it. Season 2 is also great, season 3 is good, but unfortunately I believe season 4 did not match expectations. It honestly kind of ruined the series for me, it feels like the season 4 show runner did not do justice to the wonderful characters this show had. I'm still leaving my 10/10 rating because earlier seasons still deserve it. I wish I could relive the excitement I felt from watching season 1 for the first time!
Love, love, love this show. Sandra Oh is incredible in her role as Eve. The women roles are written strong, independent, and wittly sarcastic personalities. I am so excited that this show has already been renewed for a second season. This is a must watch

Season 1 might be one of the best seasons of a television show we'll ever witness (Courtesy of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, of course). Outstanding music, camera work, and filming locations across beautiful Europe (non-cliché) streets that give the show such a magical and refreshing viewing experience. And the acting is an out-of-this-world masterclass by Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Sandra Oh and, obviously, Jodie Comer (whose character might just be the most iconic and supreme ever created). Simply superbe.
Always special.
I have watched this series for three seasons so far, and I am disappointed so far. The series is exceptional and funny sometimes and the music is perfect. Everything is great. I do not need a long review. I hope that the next season will be better or at least keep its level.

This tv show is all time my favorite, I recommend it to anyone asks for recommendation, I keep watching it over and over, but that was until I watched season four.
I mean, if you don't want to bother yourself in writing good episodes and really good ending that respect the true love we all have to this show, then don't write, don't cost yourself time and money at all!
God I really wish I didn't watch it!
I have watched the first three seasons like three times, I never skipped a single scene, I have enjoyed every episode of it, everything was great!
The acting, the directing, even the music was amazing!
I can't imagine that I spent a lot of time skipping in season four
Very disappointed from a true fan.

Loved the acting, the sound track, the mise en scene - the English humour and nuances. All in all a total treat.
Why no Emmy or Golden Globe for Jodie? She is absolutely mesmerizing

Amazing performances from Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, and an amazing soundtrack, hereby my 10/10 rating. However, the last season and the series finale were very disappointing. Unanswered questions, useless new characters and plots, and overall a season that did not match the quality of writing of the preceding three seasons. What a mess!

The series should stop at season 3. Every episode was amazing.
4th season unfortunately was a disaster. Slow dull flat with the last episode giving a disappointing ending.

Jodie Comer is so charismatic as an assassin that I would hire her to kill me! The best from TV shows that I've seen in ages.
Yes I rated this a 10 for several reasons with one exception, the final season.
The cast, storyline, locations, costumes, cinematography were all deserving of a 10. Seasons 1,2,3 all deserved a 10 as well but that is where this very sophisticated series really should have ended. Season 4 was a stretch and well that was totally disappointing. Horrible ending... on par with Game of Thrones pissing everyone off.

I've only just today finished this fantastic series and loved it from the start, right up until the ending - which was expected, but still a surprise.
I've seen Comer and Oh in quote a few things and loved them even more in this, but Fiona Shaw has been a favourite of mine for years, and in this she was a standout.
I've not read the books, and I understand the tv series is quite a departure from them, but this tv series was just so good - the costumes, the glances and humour, the acting, etc. I'm just glad Netflix didn't have anything to do with the production of it - that money making corporation would have ruined it!
This was fantastic. Loved it!

First of all, the acting and the writing is top notch. We all know Sandra Oh is one heck of an actress, but the real star is Jodie Comer as Oksana. I really enjoyed the shades of gray of each character. There are no clear cut heroes and villains in this show. You see each person grow and change as the story unfolds. Sexuality is also used to portray this notion of nothing being binary. I was let down by the ending, but most of that is because that was not the ending that I personally wanted.

Killing Eve is my favourite show of all time. It's absolutely unique, characters and story are awesome. Books are also pretty good, but books and the show are different things. I truly like the representation of slavic people there. It surprisingly doesn't look too stereotypical to me. First three seasons were enjoyable and rewatchable, Villanelle WAS one of the best female characters I've ever seen in my whole life. And the best decision would be to finish the show after third season. But nonono, we need to ruin everything we have. So fourth season was BAD, like I would rate it 0/10 if I could. It feels like writers were replaced by eleven years olds. Characters became flat, Oxana became KIND and EMPATHIC, bruhhh, it's not her anymore. And the ending... yeah, I'm not even talking about twist, it just looked too dumb and surrealistic. Even tho, I gave 10/10 to the show just because I appreciate first seasons.

This is a thrilling new show filled with phenomenal performances. I was expecting an intense drama, which this show certainly is, but I was shocked by how absolutely hysterical it is. It's thoroughly entertaining and filled with phenomenal performances.
I've seen a lot of people singling out Sandra Oh for her performance and she really is at the top of her game here. She's absolutely brilliant, but the star here is ultimately Jodie Comer who is absolutely sensational. She's funny, scary, and some how she makes you genuinely love her even though she's a raging pyscopath. Fiona Shaw is also wonderful in a supporting part. I've always loved her stage work and it was a joy to see her in such a great part here. Overall, this is a great new show, just don't go in expecting a stuffy drama. This is a brilliant, borderline campy, dark comedy that's also a heart racing thriller.
