  • Warning: Spoilers
I'll start by saying I loved the opening episode, and was full of praise for the series, but as it's gone on, the standard has plummeted, during this final instalment I couldn't follow it, the story jumped about, making it virtually impossible to follow. The acting was wooden, Alastair Mackenzie, who'd been particularly good throughout, wasn't given enough to do, even the wonderful Siobhan Finneran lacked her usual sparkle. Plot holes galore, the intriguing moment where Jordan falls off a cliff, but the onlookers can see him breathing, poor writing. That said, the Jordan twist was well played out and interesting, but the thought of Annie's blue Ford Focus driving around twisty roads was becoming painful.

A series that promised so much sinks without trace. 4/10
