If you haven't been introduced to The Books of Knjige before you will probably find the movie meaningless to a certain point. Their sense of humor is everything but common (they are known as Montenegrin Monty Pythons). Movie is about a very unusual detective and a crime to be solved. Plot - as well as the entire story is quite absurd. Rarely ha-ha at first but at some point you will burst into laughter. Actors apart from a few are amateurs so it is their simplicity to be appreciated, not the acting skills. Production and sound of the top quality. Give it a go with this one, it is very refreshing comparing to comedies and super hero franchise.

Classic TBOK movie i like it.You didn't come in cinema to watch Hangover,the humoristic movie with X milions budget and still 0% funnier then this. sasagagula9 November 2017First of all, I would like to say that I really respect all the work being done by The Books of Knjige crew. I like listening to their radio show, funny commercials and their TV sketches. Whole generations grew up watching them. And they REALLY used to be funny...
But this time something really went wrong. This is probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life! Who did they pay to pump IMDb score of this film to 9.0?
It is very vulgar, not funny excuse of a film. I regret wasting my hard earned money one this one. Please get 1.5 hours of my life back!
Script is awful. Is this the same movie the crew has been announcing for the last 10 years? And they dare to compare themselves to Monty Python?!
Lines are strained, acting is below average. It was really hard and also embarrassing to watch. Burning hands of some police officers? Sexually assaulting an old man in the middle of the movie? Reusing he same phrases that are circulating in Montenegro for the last 30 years? Milking truck drivers?
Gentlemen, vulgarity is not the same as humor! Please stick to commercials and radio shows. -

This is a black comedy of absurd in its most extreme form. And beneath that, this is a movie about humanity today - corrupted, unfaithful, hypocritical... If you look at it that way, you'll see just how great TBOK were in displaying these thing to the viewers.

Ali za mene, i za vecinu ljudi verujem, sprdati samoga sebe je deo slobode izrazavanja i treba biti jos nakaradnije. Meni je ovaj film predobar i vraca mi nadu da cak i u takvoj "sredini" postoje ljudi koji su smesni na ne tako standardan nacin.
These multi talented creatives mock their society and tradition in a weird way, which can be offensive to someone. But for me, and for most people I believe, making fun of yourself is part of freedom of expression. To me, this film is great and gives me back hope that even in such an "Traditional society" there are people who are funny in a weird way. -
