The best indonesian movie to date. The first movie, as what other indonesia movies, was really okay-ish. 6/10
Then there is this one. The addition of Luna Maya, i really had no idea she can act, brought everything alive.
She was definitely star of the show. I grew up watching lots of critically acclaimed movies like the godfather, Shawshank, american beauty, pulp fiction and such, but i always have my own place for natural acting such Roma and Before Trilogy. This one delivered it. I never thought i would rate an indonesian movie higher than Marlina the murderer in four acts (7/10) but this one is unbelievable.
The connection amongst the characters, the screenplay, the act, the build up of the problems, the resolution.... While they are not perfect, it still at least delivers them good.
A must see for Indonesians.
