After Rocher's devastating behaviour, Adele is trying to move forward. When she drops Ulysse off at school Adele encounters an obviously distressed young woman, Elodie, covered in blood, looking for her son Jonah. She runs off and the team quickly establishes Jonah was killed a few years earlier in a hit-and-run. They also discover a dead man in the Elodie's apartment, who turns out to have been an investigative journalist. When the team find an ear belonging to a missing veterinary student, Nadia Delmas, in the apartment's fridge, things get really complicated. Then Adele discovers a link between Jonah and Nadia.
