Convincing acting by Angela Schijf

I liked the acting of Angela Schijf. She is a very good actress. Warm, convincing and very good cast for the role she has. Next to that Roeland Fernhout is, as always, a top class Dutch actor. The only thing is that the first season was better. As more series with a very good first season, the second season is less natural.

I'm Seriously shocked.

I loved this show. Binge watched all three seasons in two days (sick at home 😅 ). So much anxiety what will happen how it will develop, what will happen when the secret is out and it ends with a line of the main character saying to her man: I'm an escort. SERIOUSLY NOW!!!!!after three seasons of unfolding that was the best you could So ending this show? Deeply disappointing.

Well acted, written and produced show

I binge watched the first two seasons. The lead actors are all very strong and believable . The plot and the character development and dynamics between characters was well done. The show is fast paced and well written. Never a dull moment. I liked the episode where the female lead goes to Paris (no spoilers). I would have loved to see more development with recurring client story lines.

The styling of the sets was very classy. But one thing I didn't like production wise was the fact that the sets / house interiors were styled very similar. I believe every character deserves their own style and that wasn't the case in my humble opinion. And not every house hold has a stylist. The fact that the show is based in Amsterdam and we get to see much of it was nice. I loved the styling of outfits! Wow, I want what Meryem is wearing.

After watching the last, very entertaining third, season I changed my rating from 8 to 9. They really did it and made the last one absolutely fantastic, thrilling, engaging with a nice story line. I fell in love with the characters all over again.

Bad script or bad actors or both?

I will be honest, i have seen the complete series. But it seems like a b series, is it a bad script and dialogues or just bad actors? It doesn't feel good. Shame, it could have been nice.

Always wanted to see a competition between people who can act like the worst human being? Then this is the show for you! All characters are terrible horrible people. The acting is below average at best. Feels like a B-show.
