In a brief scene, a man and woman are shown passionately kissing and eventually taking off each other's clothes as they engage in sexual intercourse. Thrusting and moaning is present.

Throughout the show there are a myriad of sexual references and jokes, some more explicit than others.

A man is seen from behind unzipping his pants and masturbating on a window wall, he is later seen wiping the semen off in a returning scene, leaving a small smudge.

It is implied that a man posted a picture of his anus on the internet. A brief glimpse of it can actually be seen but it's on a computer and the screen is slightly turned so it can be very easy to miss.

A man puts a vibrating phone near a woman's clothed crotch and they kiss.

A woman unzips her pants and shoves a man's hand into her crotch, he starts pleasuring her but the scene cuts before anything happens. Sex is implied.

While on the phone with a colleague, a man starts masturbating and breathing heavily on the phone's microphone as she continues to laboriously insult and belittle him.

Many scenes show couples kissing and making out ardently, and there are several implications of sex and sexual acts, but only a few sex scenes shown throughout the entire series.

The sexual content in this show can be quite strong, especially in the first two seasons, with explicit dialogue & sexual banter.

Brief scuffles and heated arguments.

A man dives in head first into the shallow end of a pool and he loses two of his front teeth. He holds a towel over his blood-covered mouth.

A dead animal is found in a chimney covered in maggots.

It is implied that a man committed suicide by shooting himself at his desk.

Constant profanity throughout the show, "fuck", "shit", "bitch", "dick", "damn" and "ass" are used in a pervasive fashion, while other profanities such as "cunt", "cock"/"cocksucker" and "prick" are used less frequently.

3,021 uses of "fuck" in the entire show (of 39 episodes), coming to an average of 76 (sometimes more than 100) uses of "fuck" per episode.

Often times characters blurt out incredibly creative insults such as "buckle up fuckle head" or "that was about as choreographed as a dog getting fucked on roller skates". The series is notorious for this type of vulgar language and there is plenty of it.

Meth, cocaine, marijuana, ketamine and crack are all used and referenced at least once in the show.

Cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption is pretty frequent. Alcohol is served at family dinners, meetings, gatherings and public events.

The episode 'Prague' (S1 EP8) has pervasive drinking and drug usage. Several scenes of people graphically snorting cocaine and getting drunk, it is also implied that a man has taken large amounts of molly.

A woman asks a man if he would like to do drugs with her but she declines. He is later shown snorting cocaine and drinking vodka.

A main character is a recovering drug addict.

Some of the scenes with Logan are quite distressing and unsettling.

This show is quite depressing since it is about family members who will stop at nothing to destroy one another in order to gain political and positional power.

Someone kills themselves via gun, many people hear the gunshot and run.

A man violently slaps another man in the face very suddenly. The latter's face is a bit bloodied and he spits out a tooth. For episodes after, he appears to have a bandage of some sort in his mouth.

Rated R for strong vulgar language throughout, sexual material, drug use and some violent images.
