Chad L. Coleman and Peter Macon in The Orville (2017)

Primal Urges

The Orville

Edit
The final appearance of Halston Sage's false eyebrows. Alara was originally intended to not have eyebrows and appeared without them in Old Wounds (2017). As a result, Sage shaved her own eyebrows for the role. After the pilot was filmed, it was decided that the no-eyebrows look wasn't working and Sage had to wear false eyebrows for the remainder of the season. As season 2 did not film for nearly a year after season 1, her eyebrows had time to grow back. However, this episode was produced during the first season and was held back for airing as part of season 2, so Sage is still wearing false eyebrows here.
Introduces Lt. Unk, a large creature of unknown alien species. Unk does not wear a uniform or clothing of any kind while on duty, putting him in violation of the Union rule against bare feet in the engineering section (which Ed mistakenly believed was Directive 38 in Firestorm (2017)).
This was a holdover episode that was production coded as 1LAB12 from season one. It was instead released as the 14th episode of the overall series.
