Good police thriller. Bad ratings are just nonsense (possibly motivated by either prejudice against Brazilian cinema or against the idea that a movie from Brazil can fit a genre such as this one). Glória Pires and the other actors do a good job, it is quite well filmed, and it has no political problem as is usual in law-and-order flicks. Off course script is considerably predictable, but there are still some surprises, and the develolment of each situation and of each character is very good. Congratulations to the director for his first feature movie.
