Its a shame Bryan Callen doesn't get more attention as a comic.

This special is definitely worth your time! It manages to be heartwarming, endearing and hilarious.

Not sure why I waited so long to watch.

I'm embarrassed I watched schaubs so called "special" before this one. Callen is underrated as a stand up comedian. He def needs to help his boy out. Worth the watch.

I felt this was one of those specials where you didn't need to know the comic ahead of time to enjoy it. Bryan has had a long career in the world of comedy (sketch and acting), and it shows. He is sharp, witty, and goofy, but makes it all come together into an entertaining special. This was well thought out and prepared. I am looking forward to his next one as they continue to get better.

It was pretty funny, and insightful in parts. Some parts were messy and kind of seems like he's trying to do a Carlin thing, but all around a good solid special.

Like always Bryan "The Kid" Callen doesn't disappoint, this special was hilarious, I was laughing through the whole thing. I can't wait for his next special and I would highly recommend Complicated Apes to anyone!

With so many great stand up specials around do yourself a favour and watch something else. Nothing original and knowing his right winged views and anti feminist rants on his podcast he comes across as old and bitter. He was funny as he has become more political needed to tune out.

I have been a fan of Callens since madtv , He is a genuinely funny and intelligent fella who has a gift for making people laugh.

Compared to a lot of the garbage out there (e.g. No Pain, You'd Be Surprised, etc) Complicated Apes is a masterpiece.

IMO one of the best comics in the world - energy on stage like no other. I dont usually like watching specials on television however I couldn't miss this - and was not disappointed!!

Something special for us homeless cats, he could teach his boy Schaub a thing or two about comedy. Well done Bryan!!

I've followed Bryan since Ten Minute Podcast and always found him funny by this special was also really thought provoking. Made me laugh hard and felt like I learned a little something. Can't wait for the next special.

Bryan isn't given credit for his accomplishments. The man knows how to do this professionally. I love his stand up because he'll inform you and make you laugh in such a prolific way.

Bryan Callen is one of the most underrated comedians and actors of this era. It's frustrating to not find him on Netflix. This special is excellent and is much better than most of the standup on Netflix. Had me dying from beginning to end. Good mix of thoughtful and extremely silly.

Callen has been one of the best comics out there for a long time. Great special. Very smart guy that can dive into sensitive issues but still get big laughs. 9 out of 10 Netflix specials these days are garbage and come from new comics that either aren't ready or famous comics that have stopped working clubs and just trade off their fame. Callen is out there in the clubs building material like a true pro.

Amazing comedy Bryan. Brendan should take notes.

Bryan's hilarious and this is a great performance. Watched it with my girlfriend and we enjoyed every bit of it.
