I do not understand why Americans are complaining about this or saying this isn't their humor. I'm a Missouri boy and I loved it.
I like the podcast, but I was in tears at this special. Seeing it live and how they react to things was absolutely hilarious. The showing of how some of the things were written was the best.
This having a 5.8 is complete nonsense. We all know critics have no sense of humor tho. To the rest of you that didn't like it? Do not worry for I am sure there will be a new Adam Sandler movie coming soon on Netflix for you to enjoy.

NataliaFonten12 September 2019My fiance and I are HUGE MDWAP fans and we couldn't make it 10 minutes into the special. It felt incredibly fabricated and kinda pointless when the whole point of the podcast is first reactions. They're very comfortable on stage, which was great to see, but it only adds to the feeling that everything was scripted/rehearsed in a way that's counter to the parent content.
I didn't want to see them pretending they hadn't heard the chapter before. I find it weird they're dining out on that live show for so long. I guess comedians do a similar thing but the spontaneity between the 3 hosts is so integral to the success of the podcast. -
