A sensual ecstasy to the senses, this Simply Red cover of "It's Only Love" might not match with Barry White's sexy performance - a version I've
only become familiar most recently, while I knew SR's take a long time ago - but Mick Hucknall and troupe bring a more funky and melodic instrumental.
And as for the video, we have Simply Red's performance followed by a sensual couple dancing in between elaborated moves - and something tells me there's a second woman involved who from time to time interrupts the couple's act. Great editing, filled with fast cuts and a colorfully bright cinematography makes the experience a feast of wonder that matches the incredible sound by the power group.
Note: the version played in the video seems to include one or two different instruments that the album version does not have, and I think the trumpet is a little reduced at parts.
