I'm hooked on the Sir storyline but that is completely because of Sir and MPG's portrayal of him. He is a morbidly fascinating character. Unfortunately, he's kind of the only one in the entire show.
Years ago I read a book where the main character was so lovable and such an amazing person... because the author kept shoving that down my throat. Nothing the character actually said or did showed these things. I feel like that same person is writing this show.
I'm struggling to understand how Gabi is so successful and loved. I find her character very off-putting and not because she's a strong, independent boss lady. I just don't find her to be loving and real as everyone portrays her to be.
This show is filled with broken people and that formulaically can work, but it needs a strong and caring leader. While the writers keep telling us that Gabi is that person, I don't see it.
Something just isn't quite right here.
I'm going to keep watching because I want to see where the Sir storyline goes. I know he's the Bad Guy, but he's by far the only real reason I'm tuning in.

It's a pretty ridiculous show, and probably isn't realistic at all. But it's incredibly entertaining and has a good message. There's plot twists, mysteries, and honestly some episodes have me on the edge of my seat. It's a pretty simple episode structure, but the character backstories and traumas make the show for sure. But at its core, it is a found family feel-good show that is about working through trauma and mental health. Margaret's storyline is maybe the saddest, and it's the most believable and best acted. And Gabi's relationship with Sir is just so compelling, it really makes the show. Who knew Zack Morris would make such a convincing kidnapper?
Regardless, this is a show I tune in every week for. It has literally everything.

I started watching this after I saw a preview. It looked really interesting, and the first few episodes of Season 1 were interesting. But as the season progressed the stories have become less interesting to frankly boring.
I the show is about the relationship between Gabi and Sir but the show is called found, so the people they need to find should be interesting too. So far, they've been less than interesting.
The acting is top notch especially the two actresses that play Gabi and the actor who plays Sir. Margaret, Zeke and Dhan are also interesting characters. Lacey should be an interesting character, but she isn't, and Mark Trent is kind unnecessary and boring.
I hope the stories get better because I would like to see the conflict between Sir and Gabi continue to grow. It would be nice if the people their looking for get more depth to their stories.

Please don't listen to the negative reviews. The show is actually really good. Plus it has great potential to get better. Yeah it follows the same format as most shows like this but it's a different storyline. I like the characters especially Kelli Williams character. You can't help but feel for her. I like the actors as well so I don't get the negative comments about the acting. So far I've seen four episodes of this great show and I'm really enjoying it. I never listen to bad reviews because we all have different taste and you just might like it too. Check it out yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Since I've been home sick the last several days I figured l would check this one out. Not gonna lie, this one... I really want to love it but there's something off about the present day lead character. Like you just can't connect with her, but the past version of her you instantly connect with, maybe because of the vulnerability the past version of her shows. It's like the present day version is trying to hard. All of the other cast is fantastic. Plots for the episodes are overdramatic to where it feels forced. Between that and the fact that it drives me crazy that they keep calling it DCPD when it is, in fact, MPD (Metropolitan Police Department), 6 out of 10 is th best I got. Hoping season 2 is better.
I think this awesome series on NBC deserves to be renewed for seasons 3 and 4! The storytelling is super clever and engaging, with plots that really keep you hooked. The characters are so well-developed that it's hard not to feel a strong connection to them. Each episode features fantastic writing and powerful performances that make the experience special and memorable. Watching it is such a joy, and it truly stands out as a gem in the world of television. Renewing this show would be a great call, letting us and many other dedicated fans continue this exciting and joyful journey together for many more seasons!

Since Season One Episode One to date everything about this show has drawn me in and held me captive. As the web continues to unravel there's another, more intricate, one being spun. The story, characters and cases are all so exquisitely unique and intriguing I'm always left rocking with anticipation of what will come next. This show has reignited a spark I've thought was long gone in regards to TV shows. I have rewatched Season One several times because I simply cannot get enough and find each case as well as each characters pasts and present so fascinating it truly leaves me craving more! I'm anticipating Season Two finale but also dreading it because then I'll have to wait hanging by a toenail for Season Three!

It's a good show honestly and has a lot of interesting moments in it. I think that the weak part to the show is honestly the cases each week. They can be so boring and not entertaining or interesting at all. They aren't fun to watch and I feel like if they improved, then it would be much better.
Now, the characters are why I watch this show because they each have a backstory that intrigues me, and Sir and Gabi's relationship is top notch. The acting is decent throughout the show (the main actors are good but the others aren't that great). I am excited for what is to come but I do hope it improves. Overall 6/10 is a fair score I think.

What can be better:
To be perfectly honest, Shanola Hampton's acting I don't completely love.
While the premise is really interesting in my opinion, the show has that classic format of shows like Criminal Minds and whatnot and it can be cheesy at times.
I didn't like Karan Oberoi's Character (Dahn), in season 1 specifically, really flat
I didn't love season 1, but I stuck with it anyways and it was worth it for how good season 2 has been so far.
The characters are getting much more interesting, including "Sir", but in particular Margaret, (Kelli Williams) her acting is really fantastic and her character so compelling, can't wait to see what happens with her.

The lead actress is the low point of this show. I don't care whatsoever about her character and I should. The young lady who plays her in flashbacks is more compelling. Having said that, I think the show is good and the rest of the cast does a great job pulling you into their story. I don't know how long this show will last but I am invested in their stories. I really like seeing Mark Paul in this role. Creepy. Doesn't think he's the bad guy. Well done. I'm sorry but they need a better actress to play the lead or kill her off and let someone else take it. She's too Vivica A Fox and that's not a compliment.

Yes, there is an awful lot about Found which is unoriginal and directly taken from other shows or movies. One in particular which I cannot say as it would be a spoiler. However, it's the members of the team and their complex backgrounds which drew me in. These are terribly damaged people who have very clear motivations for being in the line of work they are.
Again, yes, it has some issues with some of the team and their super powers, so to speak, but again I like the characters and the actors enough here to more than overlook it. To those who think it's preachy I am a little puzzled by that. Preachy in the fact that a white girl going missing gets 100x more publicity than a girl of any other color? Reality hurts sometimes but don't call yourself out by calling this preachy.
I'm curious as to, given the true nature of what's going on, revealed at the end of the first episode how they can keep this going long term but I will be interested to watch.

Finally, there is something different on tv to watch. The premise here is pretty cool- a kidnapping victim turns the tables on her kidnapper many years later. The victim turned kidnapper is played by Shanola Hampton with the always reliable Mark-Paul Gosselaar as the original kidnapper.
Each week, "Gabby" (Hampton) and her team of talented but flawed people try to find someone who has been kidnapped, and they get help from "Sir" (Gosselaar). Again, the idea is strong and each episode holds my interest but with each passing week, I can't stop focusing on just how horrible of an actor Shanola Hampton is. She is so over the top with her "boss lady" persona, stomping in and out of every room, doling out orders for the team and then walking away like a Queen. Of course, whenever she or anyone else is upset during a case, they usually knock everything off whatever desk or table is in front of them. In one episode recently, no less than three characters did this, but "Gabby" does it all the time and it's getting to be like David Caruso's "Horation" in CSI: Miami taking off his sunglasses. Drink a shot every time Gabby clears a desk or throws something and you'll be pretty drunk before you kow it.
Gosselaar does a good job with his part, which seems to be increasing in season 2, thank goodness, because the less we see of Hampton, the better.
The mysteries range from easy to figure out to pretty clever, so I hope this show has enough in the tank to keep being interesting because it's nice to have something unique on tv these days.

I loved Shanola Hampton on shameless, so when i saw her posting about this show on Instagram i wanted to check it out. Started watching tn, and binged all the available episodes so far. I love it! It keeps my attention which is really difficult for me with some shows. But from the start this one really grabs you. The plot twist is not at all obvious, and really had me surprised (mouth hanging open and all😂) the first episode. Cant wait to see where the rest of the season goes and hopefully it gets renewed, because i think it has a lot of potential to be a good reoccurring series. I love Law and Order SVU and this kinda reminds me of this. So now it's my new lil comfort show!

This series is a modern style counter to the brilliant classic show missing without a trace.
The lead actress is wonderful here. Real and believable, tragic background and a zealous commitment. She's batman. Overall it's cute and kitschy. They have to include elements of trauma,The show is on citytv so struggle to see why so many reviews are negative. This is not Scorsese. Anyhow excited to see more. Only watched the first 4 episodes so far. But it's promising with hinted overall season plot being suitably big. It is a light watch, no heavy contemplative viewing attention required. Decent pacing episodic feel good content.

I love the concept of this series, but the acting is just awful!! Like, embarrassingly amateur and predictable. I never once forgot I was watching actors at work, each performance straining to convince; which meant none were very believable. Super stereotypical villains and heroes, which was irritating after awhile- it's not so easy to spot who is who is real life, folks. It's would be nice if it was, but a certain appearance doesn't indicate "good" or "bad". I really tried and I wanted so much to like this show, but I truly cannot keep watching. Maybe it would be fine tucked into the Lifetime movie library, or if Hallmark has a drama category?
The cast definitely has really good actors, I just happen to adore Shanola and I have zero doubt this show will be GREAT for this subject matter to be able to take up some space on television.
Many have been stolen and they and their loved ones could use all the light shown on them as possible. We live in a time when people try to take away the ability to do practically anything you can imagine, all because of bad element in society. I'm referring to the sharks with all the loot who treat human beings like they're expendable. That is going to change.
THANK YOU to the entire cast! The people who have had to wait all these decades to have a show that highlights these tragedies will no doubt be touched that someone finally had the decency to go there in a tv show. Make as many episodes as you can and appeal to the people in every way possible to get them hooked. It can inspire people to keep their eyes open more for themselves and to be able to spot shady and dangerous types, period.

Ugh. I was really looking forward to this show because of the clever premise (no spoilers here!). Unfortunately, it came across as a poorly acted after school special insistent on "educating" us dullard viewers on the alleged injustices of the criminal justice system when it comes to the investigation of missing persons cases. I could have dealt with the preachiness of the show if it didn't also rely on the tired trope of all the main cast being "damaged people" who have "been where you are" regarding all of life's injustices. What happened to the concept of "show, don't tell" when it comes to character development? I will give it another episode, but it better improve greatly.

I thought the promos looked interesting! However, it was so absurd, I could barely make it through 2 episodes! The whole premise is ridiculous, the acting is atrocious & the plot is way beyond belief! You made a big mistake with this one NBC! Ugh! The lead actress is over the top with her tough broad persona which is actually laughable! The rest of the cast isn't much better! The lead actress keeps this bad guy prisoner and he's supposed to be helping her in her quest to find missing people! Why would he help her? Makes absolutely no sense! My 10 year old granddaughter could write a more plausible script!
