An Eerie Original Treat

Interesting take on Majestic 12 & the government alien conspiracy theories with a brand new theory, fully fleshed out into a great low budget entertainer for the more cerebral among us. You think you've heard all this before, but no. It's fresh, & not a bad sci-fi.

Taking a look at the other wildly varying reviews, it had good tension but as a horror lover, I wouldn't call it scary. It did have the clandestine conspiracy. High strangeness amidst the unquestioning norm paradoxical atmosphere, which was truly expertly constructed.

There are zero visuals to speak of or special effects at all, but it was the wise choice not to employ them. If you're looking for an action or CGI flick this ain't it.

Conspiracy popcorn flick

Fun watch if you like conspiracy theories. It's competently shot, nothing crazy with the visuals. The acting is fine. The character writing can come off as obnoxious at points. Personally took a nap before the last five minutes of the movie. Could tell the twist from a mile away. After waking up finished what was left and it proved my expectation. The was it real or not factor is overdone and doesn't add to anything. The dynamic between the main character and the old man was fun to watch. Other than that nothing that hasn't been seen before. May seem harsh but it's a turn your brain off have fun movie. It kept me watching till the end and that's all a movie really has to do. A 3 may seem low but that just means it's average.

One of the best films at 2020 Nevermore Film Festival. Low budget, but intriguing and thoughtful fictional account of Bernwood, a 2008 video blogger who specializes in debunking conspiracy theories, who gets caught up in a story about extra-terresrials. Has a similar vibe to the X-Files. Doesn't answer all the questions it poses, but the best films leave something to your imagination.

Make a movie that seems really interesting, release a full length trailer.... but then make the actual feature length film TOTALLY UNAVAILABLE TO ANYONE ANYWHERE.

It get's 10 stars simply for being so good, I can't find it anywhere on Earth.
