In an Engineering College Boys Hostel, a 'grill' is seen in between both the juniors and seniors blocks which is locked gives off a very suspicious tone. In the background, a man's voice is heard. He warns the listeners about not going towards the Grill post 10PM and tells them that if they want to break the rule, they are responsible for whatever happens. Now time goes back till the morning. Arjun comes for admission along with his father and gets in a quarrel with seniors over disturbing him and his father which ignites bad terms between Arjun and Pradeep, who is the leader of seniors. Arjun and Ganesh introduced to each other as roommates. Then Veera Raghava Reddy enters the same room as a guy from a faction based family. Antony who is from the same room introduces himself as an aspiring model obsessed with his hair. Meanwhile, Ganesh connects with the server in that canteen and when she comes around serving eggs, instead of one, she serves Ganesh 4. He is overwhelmed and falls in love (retro love track). The asst. Warden comes to call all the students to assemble in the main ground. They all go there, when the warden tells the students about the rules they have to abide by and focus on not going towards the grill post 10PM. But a student sneaks out and goes towards the grill and as it looks very simple, he just kicks it. After he kicks it, he sees something behind the grill and runs away.

The people behind the grill are revealed to be the seniors who break the grill's lock. They come in and rag all the juniors. The next morning all the juniors sit in front of the warden who feels very bad for them and tells them the story behind the grill rivalry that in 1993, both the juniors and seniors were very close, but because of a small argument about an underwear, they get divided. Arjun will toss noodles up when he sees a girl he seems to know. Arjun then confirms that it is the same girl that he dated in Junior College. Arjun then remembers those sweet memories with her when it ends with her saying "I don't ever wanna see your face again". Arjun then looks forward when Aaradhya is missing. He runs out to see her getting on a senior's bike and leaving. Arjun is heartbroken. Later Kabali was introduced to all the room mates, he shocks them by doing yoga in a langoti. Later he will go to wash his clothes. Suddenly he runs into the room, drink Tony's water when what he has done is shown. After washing his clothes, he dries his underwear on the rope next to the grill and because of the wind, it falls on the grill and the dripping water from it falls on the senior's forehead who was sitting on the other side of the grill.

The entire seniors enter the junior's block and pull everyone out of their rooms and start to beat and rag. Meanwhile Ganesh is in the canteen flirting with the server. Then while leaving, she gives him a box of boiled eggs to eat. Ganesh gets extremely happy. He holds the box carefully and comes out when one senior throws them down. Ganesh gets crazy and beats the senior very hard. He falls down and doesn't get up. The other seniors take him away when the juniors enjoy their first victory against the seniors. Later, the principal calls for all the juniors and loses her temper, asks for CCTV Camera's to be set up and asks all the students to call their parents. Reddy gets paranoid because he is scared of his father and he should never get to know this. Krupanandam suggests an actor who can act like Reddy's father for 5,000 in return which they give. They go to meet the actor, Devaraju who is actually a sweeper. They are shocked, but have no other choice. They talk to him and Reddy gives some details about his father. Devaraju notes down all the details. The next day, Devaraju comes in as Reddy's father and speaks with the principal. After she tells him what happened, Devaraju calls in Reddy and beats him like crap. The principal gets shocked. Reddy apologies and Devaraju leaves when the 4 friends are shocked as to what just happened. Arjun thinks about Aaradhya and never he see her again after seeing her in the canteen. The next day 5 of them are in the class and bored when Aaradhya walks in. Arjun is extremely happy and smiles at her. Arjun looks at her when Aaradhya also notices it. After the class Arjun tries to talk to her when she clearly isn't interested.

Looking at Arjun's behavior a group of mechanical students will come and ask Arjun to stop falling behind Aaradhya when he says that she is his ex. They don't believe when Arjun explains how they broke up - Arjun plans a lot for Aaradhya's birthday which get's her extremely excited but due to a sudden change of plans, Arjun ends up staying home for his unwell father. Aaradhya waits for Arjun's wishes but he completely forgets about it. This gets Aaradhya very angry and breaks up with him. The entire group now is sad for Arjun. They go to Krupanandam to buy beers. Ganesh asks if he wants to see her now in the drunk mood. After a few minutes, they all decide to go to the ladies hostel.

The 5 of them leave. Ganesh doesn't find his slippers and wears someone else's. They go through the seniors hostel by dodging one of them who doesn't recognize them to be seniors. They reach the ladies hostel. They all search for Aaradhya's room when Arjun finds it, he goes in. The others split up except Reddy who stays with Arjun. Arjun looks at Aaradhya with love for a while. Meanwhile Ganesh will sleep in one of the rooms and Tony goes into one of the washrooms. The next morning, Kabali, Reddy and Arjun wake up. They partly remember what happened the previous night. Then Ganesh wakes up in between 2 girls. He enjoys that situation but after a while, one of the girls wakes up and Ganesh screams and runs. Arjun and friends wonder where Ganesh and Tony are. Ganesh forgets one of the slipper he wore and runs to his room. He goes to the room and asks how he woke up in ladies hostel. Meanwhile, the principal will be at the ladies hostel. She will be investigating when she finds a Spiderman slipper that Ganesh left. She goes to the juniors hostel and calls all the juniors to come out. Nageswara Rao then tells the principal that the grill lock has been picked. The principal loses her temper and asks for the CCTV footage. She checks it but nothing will be found because the camera has been moved. The principal then asks for a brick wall to be built in between the 2 blocks. The 4 of them still don't know where Tony is. Kabali questions if he is still somewhere in the ladies hostel. The brick wall has been built completely.

The 4 of them are looking for Tony when a bald headed man comes from under the bed claiming to be Tony. He reveals that his hair was fake and that he needed that for a better career in modeling. Then they all recollect the events of going to the Ladies Hostel then Tony remembers that he entered the ladies washroom, did some pull ups on the shower rod and the wig got stuck to the ceiling. They then think how to get the wig back when Ganesh says that only 1 person can get the wig back and they go to Krupanandam. Krupanandam listens to what they did and gets shocked. He asks for 5000/- to get the wig back. Krupanandam enters the ladies hostel with the rice sack saying that the Cook wanted it. He finds the wig attached to the ceiling. He stands on the stool and goes to reach it when he sees a girl taking bath next to him. They share an awkward stare when she screams. Everyone comes in to catch Krupanandam. He is also accused of coming the previous night by other girls. The 5 of them will be waiting for Krupanandam to come. Then Krupanandam will bring the entire faculty along with the wig. Ganesh asks Tony to go inside. The principal questions whose wig it is when they act like they don't know. They cover up and start to talk about Krupanandam and all the illegal things. The principal realizes her mistake, fires and kicks Krupanandam out. Krupanandam then swears to take revenge on the 5 of them.

Tony gets his wig back. Aaradhya gets to know the incident and meet Arjun and scolds him for entering to ladies hostel and ask Arjun to prepare well for exams. As exams appear near all students prepare for exams and finishes their exams. Arjun and gang leave to their houses for holidays. A night which was a day before Arjun's birthday Arjun gets a message from Aaradhya wishing him and Arjun feels happy and gets depressed for not getting any greeting from his friends. on the birthday morning all of his friends comes to Arjun home and surprise him for his birthday and they all decides to go to a brewery. As they went to brewery they enjoys there. Arjun stays in a moody manner. As he want to give a surprise to Aaradhya. All of his friends comes to know and they decides to give a surprise to Aaradhya with a music band and a small birthday setup and arrives near Aaradhya home. Principal terminates Arjun and gang and sends them out of college and hostel. Devaraju shelters them. Arjun and gang watch a scrapped truck and decide to start a food truck with that. Arjun and gang welcome warden to open it and get rejected. Devaraju open the food truck. Aaradhya requests principal to allow Arjun and gang to college and when principal is reluctant to listen her Aaradhya becomes serious and alleges her that she is punishing them out of personal grudge. Listening to this principal burst out and reveals that Arjun is none other than his son for whom she cannot keep grudges. Shocked Aaradhya comes to Arjun and feels bad for Arjun and hugs to express her love. Arjun and gang get help by canteen girl and Aaradhya to work for food truck. Warden eats a day at food truck and gets mesmerized by the taste. Looking at this progress Pradeep tries to frame Arjun by reporting Aaradhya's father about his relation with her. Being a city municipal commissioner, Aaradhya's father demands him permission papers to open a restaurant on road and after listening to Arjun's narration he gets convinced about restaurant and his love and leaves from there. Shocked to see Arjun's situation Arjun's father Sridhar requests him to come back home for which Arjun denies. In a heated conversation between Arjun and Sridhar, Sridhar reveals why their marriage was a failure and what made them separated.

Finally Pradeep plans to damage the grill and incidentally on the planned day he gets saved by Arjun saves Pradeep's life from thugs. Pradeep realizes his mistake and asks for apologies. They decides to give food order to them for the cultural event which held in their college. After the cultural event all who tastes the food gets impressed and praises Arjun and batch but principal denies tasting it. Knowing this Arjun goes to principal and asks for apologies and in the same conversation he questions her "why she had to leave him in his childhood" which leaves her in silence. After some incidents principal faces an incident to eat food of the food truck and gets mesmerized by recollecting the taste of her mother food. One day all of them parents watch Arjun's interview in a TV program and get to know that they are running a food truck instead of studying. Next day they come to college and accuse Arjun for spoiling their children. They see him as responsible for all these and scold his parent for the way they brought him up. When one of the furious parents lifts his hand to slap Arjun, all of sudden principal comes to his rescue and defends him for his deeds and to everybody shock she announces him as her son. With principal words parents gets convinced and leaves from there.
