This was my first Filipino film.
Absolutely loved the recklessness with friends through the night vibes.
The girl's outfits are cute - she wears about three (look back for inspiration).
Her boyfriend is a singer and he sings so beautifully but he goes after other women. He cheated on her and the girl is 2 weeks late. She confronts him about her possibly being pregnant. He asks her what is this? She is not even sure. Is this a pity party?
The girl leaves, upset, and gets into a taxi car that Pol is in. His father owns the taxi and he asked his dad to borrow it.
Pol takes her to her home which is beautiful. He worries that she is going to kill herself and runs up to her doorstep, calling her name out. She opens the door and shows she was just packing. She asks him to take her somewhere else.
They end up meeting with their friends and finding out the gay friends got together. They have a reckless night of fun with a strawberry pouch with dares. Pol gets a tattoo, the girl eats a fried chick at a street food stand. They go to get Erna who called drunk. They go into their school and that is where the girl drops her pouch with the dares. I love the scene where the girl leans back against the taxi. She looks so pretty.
Pol and the girl drop off their friends and they go to an empty place together. Pol says legend says the forest deities make a boy's penis larger and the girl asks about vaginas. He says he doesn't know as he is not a girl. The girl flirtatiously asks if he is virgin. Pol says he has never even had a kiss as he never had a girlfriend and calls himself a loser. They go to a beautiful overlook where the girl tells him she may be pregnant. She gave all of her to the wrong guy and regrets. Pol simply hugs her. He tells her to take things head on.
Pol drops her off at the bus. He later goes home and talks to his dad while crying. He runs out to go get her back. His friend calls saying he thought Pol was with her at the concert. She is there. Pol goes to the concert where the girl throws the pregnancy test at her ex. It is only a single line so she is not pregnant.
Pol takes her to the bus and she goes into a bit about starting over by herself. Then it turns out she was just sort of joking. She is not leaving to go on the bus. She asks Pol when is the next bus and he replies 7:30. She says so they have an hour. Pol says anything can happen in an hour. They sit and laugh together.
The songs in this film are so beautiful too.
