The Dreamers
(2003)

An enjoyable film
Micheal Pitt stars in this unusual, erotic film about a brother and sister and a sexual menage a trois that leaves one in confusion. A word of caution to parents there is a lot pf nudity in this and that includes some full frontal scenes. My only regret in this is a film about zero inhibitions should certainly have none, but, that is not the case. While there is plenty of sexual innuendos between the to men there isn't much displayed. In the end *I* felt as betrayed as Pitt's character must have and felt disappointed by the end - which is why I gave it eight instead of ten stars. Over all I enjoyed this film but haven't bought it yet as there's numerous others to be had which are better and ones I want sooner than not.

Mame
(1974)

A Personal Favorite
Mame is an exceptionally entertaining and deeply touching film. Lucille Ball was a wonderful selection for the role despite her obvious lack of musical talents, which for me made her role all the more realistic and enjoyable. I think the cast was wonderfully chosen especially Beatrice Arthur to play Mame's "friend" Vera. The duo were indeed a powerful pair at least! A must see!

The Matchmaker
(1958)

A CLASSIC!
One of my favorite Shirley Booth films and it has several other favorite stars of mine including Anthony Perkins and the GREAT Shirley MacLaine! The film is the original story which the famous musical Hello Dolly! was based. If you are a Dolly Levi fan you must see this classic!

Come Back, Little Sheba
(1952)

WONDERFUL!
This is a great film. One of Shirley Booth's finest performances I feel. The film centres around the hardships of a woman who seemingly has a perfect life (for the period) but we soon see through the facade and see a strong woman with man hardships who struggles to help her husband maintain an error of distinction and hide his alcholism which quickly fails but she still does not buckle. It all centres around a missing dog, Little Sheba. A must see for any Shirly Booth or Burt Lancaster fan.

The Cable Guy
(1996)

Disappointed
First of all I am a fan of Carey's and even a bigger fan of Broderick's so I was sure I would love the combination! Well, I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, it had its moments. Unfortunately they weren't strong enough moments to me. The entire movie comes across as one big skit centering around the antics of Carey's annoying character. Broderick's character was so ho-hum I don't even think that HE could believe this could be a real person! Sadly, the best part of the film for me was the closing credits.
