Octane
(2003)

Doesn't even the WRITER know what this is about???
I did miss some of the beginning, but I think it's obvious right up to the last scene that this is a movie about a woman's last moments. She was involved in a wreck and is dying but doesn't quite realize it, and instead of facing up to reality is trying to "find" her daughter who was in the car with her, to prevent her soul from going with the Evil forces, before she herself gives up and goes into "the Light". Those who insist on seeing this as an actual movie about a blood cult, I fear, are sadly superficial. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case with all of the actors, director and crew. Stephen Volk, where are you?

Under the Gun
(1995)

Fun to watch
Richard Norton is entertaining in anything, and in this he's funny as well. The scene where he bites a telephone in frustration (ad-libbed!) had my husband and me nearly rolling on the floor. Of course, it's a very serious movie, with some very tense and some tragic moments in addition to the many funny ones, but it has a happy ending.

It Came from Somewhere Else
(1988)

Best, funniest, bad movie we have ever seen!
My husband and I rank this as one of our favorite movies. It has a lot of bits that we enjoy seeing over, like the doctor whose answer to everything is to take X-rays (a couple-a-hunnert, and the "mime hands" sprouting out of the ground as the evil alien crop experiment fails.

The police chief's bad acting is a triumph. It must have taken incredible concentration!

If you enjoy laughing at stupid or silly movies, you will love this one. And I'm not being sarcastic!

The Miracle of Morgan's Creek
(1943)

Delightful, charming, made me laugh out loud several times!
This fast-paced comedy enchanted me and my husband. The characters are all so likeable, the innocence of another era so charmingly portrayed, the situations into which they get themselves, and their hysterical reactions, so preposterous - yet supported - that it left us nearly breathless!
