What a pleasant surprise -- I certainly didn't expect to LOVE this movie as much as I did. It works on many levels; it's a truly hilarious comedy (and a loving parody of sci-fi geeks everywhere), but the dramatic situations also pulled me in totally. It's rare to really care about characters in such a laugh-fest, but I found myself earnestly rooting for the good guys while laughing out loud all the way through.

A 90's Bonnie and Clyde-type flick. This movie is loaded with cliches, inane dialog and lousy acting.

The only saving grace is the always superb John Spencer as the lonely, creepy (but strangely loveable) Uncle Mike
