Dot the I
(2003)

WHAT A RIDE!!!
I saw this film last night at a screening, and let me say what an AWESOME film! I'm not going to explain any of it, because it's all the element of surprise! Brilliant! Gael Garcia Bernal is such an amazing actor, brilliant man! His accent alone made me melt, "me tinks, he'll win an Oscar soon" Anyhow see this film its wonderful! James D'arcy, you scally-wag! :)

BLOODY AWFUL!!!
I walked out after 30 minutes. Terrible film. The lead actress was just dreadful to watch and listen to. She looked like a twelve year old boy in drag, Marc Blucas should go to a speech coach, he sounds like a robot that has just been taught what it means to feel.

Every American Should See This Film!
I've never cried longer or harder while watching a movie. This film is beyond EXCELLENT!!! Michael Moore is a genuis filmmaker and human being! I'm not gonna give anything away, but if you haven't seen this film, you should! Every student and teacher should be required to watch this movie, as well as all the Americans who think America is so great and invincible, think again! Go see the movie, you'll learn something, it will be the best $7.50 you'll ever spend. Screw Triple XXX and Minority Report, spend your money on something that gives you substance, and doesn't make your I.Q. drop a few points after watching it! GO SEE THIS FILM!!!!

The Rules of Attraction

BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR
I don't think there's a word in any language to describe how brilliant, unique, smart, and outstanding this film is! I've seen it three times so far and counting. Such wonderful performances and superb writing. I'm a film student and watching this film, I wish I had been apart of it somehow. This movie was just wonderful. I lauged, I cried, I was even a bit offended at times, but it didn't matter because this film was so wonderful. James Van Der Beek is such a good actor he should do more films, its hard to believe he's actually acting,he delivers his lines like they're nothing. Ian Somerhalder what can I say about you, YOU ROCK!!! I'm trying not to single anyone out because everyone did good, even the extras were good! Kip Pardue's trip to Europe was some of the best editing, scriptwriting, and just down right film making I've ever seen! This movie effected me on so many levels, this movie has you leaving the theatre thinking. If you haven't seen this film, see it! See it more than once, don't waste your money on crap, go see this movie, it was to put it simply BRILLIANT! My hats off to you Roger Avary!

TRIPLE XXX TRIPLE SUCKED!!
I've seen better commericials on Public Access Televsion, that were more entertaining than this film! No disrespect to Vin Diesel, Asia Argento, or any of the actors and crew. But this is by far the WORST film I have ever seen, and I've seen plenty of bad films. This film couldn't have been any worse, the dialogue was beyond dreadful, who ever concieved the idea of writing this film, then eventually putting it to script, should be taken out and stoned to death! The directing was awful, the acting was painful to watch. What's scary is that Vin Diesel is a decent actor, why would he sell out like that, by doing such an embarrassing and horrible film? I guess it truly is about money, I suppose art and having value in what you do just doesn't matter anymore, but hey to each his own. As far as Samuel L. Jackson I lost respect for him after Shaft. There was just simply nothing good to say about this film. Given that this is an action film, and that plot and substance seem to not be big players in the grand scheme of things, but there was no story, there was nothing. It seemed as if the film makers, were like hey lets make a quick action flick, blow up a few things, throw in some half naked girls, a decent looking leading man, and we'll make lots of money. And that's exactly what they did. And the fact that they keep calling this the new breed of secret agent, makes me sick to my stomach. I know that Hollywood is probably at its worse right now as far as films are concerned but this one just simply took it too far. I found myself daydreaming during the film, thinking about things I had to do later. And why is it that people think non-stop action is great!? As far as I'm concerned everyone who participated in the making of this film should be embarrassed, its a travesty! Hey this is only my opinion, but I left the movie theatre literally enraged, I wanted to gain back the 2 hours of my life lost, watching the piece of crap film. If you want to loose major intelligent points then go see this film, I'm quite sure, your I.Q will drop more then 30 points! What's even more ashamed, is being that the majority of American audiences probably thought it was a good film. And we wonder why nobody likes us.
