Wolf Pack
(2023)

Werewolf fever
It's not the best werewolf show but it is a solid addition to the classic werewolf trope genre.

It is a good addition to the post teen wolf/vampire Diaries/Buffy the vampire slayer genre of shows that have all finished. Nothing wrong with a solid werewolf show that follows most classic mythological stories while adding a new, modern spin on it. There is also amazing lgbtqa+ representation without seeming overtly forced.

Also Sarah Michelle Gellar is iconic no matter the role, existed to see what a second season would add to the story, especially concerning Sarah and her relation to the 'pack'.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
(1997)

No words can describe this mastery
I have watched buffy at least 3 times all the way through, it has such good representation for the late 90s and I am so emotionally attached to all the characters. I wish it never ended but at least I can watch it over and over.

The Child Remains
(2017)

A little slow, but worth it
This movie is honestly a lot better than I though it would be. It has a great twist that I never saw coming. The acting was a little inconsistent throughout, but easily forgivable.

Paranormal Activity 2
(2010)

Ok
I like this movie, and it had moments where I was genuinely afraid. Not amazing, but built on the plot of the previous one. Not bad.

Paranormal Activity
(2007)

Terrifying. Mostly
I watched this in 2019 so there was minimal hype about this movie. I dont know if it was the perspective or what but this movie genuinely terrified me.....well only when it was nighttime. So half the movie was scary, the other half, not great. The story was ok, and is explored in the following films more, but I would still reccomend this is your looking to get your heart racing.

The Nun
(2018)

Worth it?
Let me start by saying I dont mind jumpscares and enjoyed the other movies in the conjuring universe. That being said, the nun was lacking in many ways. There are only one or two actually scary moments, which is ok, but I find this movie to be lacking atmosphere. It did not live up to its potential, the story was ok, the acting was good, but I feel that it's missing something. I will say that this movie answers a few questions about the past of the Warren's, and I'm sure it will tie in to further installments in the conjuring. For that reason I will say watch this movie, if only to understand the (hopefully) better next installments in the conjuring universe.

Mercy Black
(2019)

Actually a good movie
I took a chance watching this, expecting bad acting and plot holes, but I was pleasantly surprised. This movie, while not amazing, has twists and turns that kept me interested throughout the whole movie. It would not be my first recommendation, but I would certainly reccomend it.
