So I'm a huge fan of Happy Death Day, I saw it in theaters and loved it!! I even bought the movie on iTunes. I wasn't able to see the sequel in theaters and now i'm glad I didn't. This movie tried to hard to be smart ...I didn't care for the new killers...that was like an alternate ending on the first film...it wasnt a shocker at all. The writers did not think the storyline through. They should have been a lot more creative but took the safe route and turned a nice dark comedy into a sci fi flick. I also thought the "choose my mom over a guy" was dumb too...but i think the film was trying to say that she can't stay in the past and has to accept the the way things are. I guess?? ... So the movie isnt bad but not as enjoyable as the first one. I think the acting was great though...

This movie started out alright....But something was just missing. There are parts I liked, but the rooms weren't interesting to me. The cube had empty rooms besides the traps, but it built your anticipation...you never knew what would happen next...but with this film It kind of got old since the rooms were boring. The ending with the plane got on my nerves.

I actually found this movie interesting at first...But as I watched it I realized there was absolutely NO story line. No explanation of how any of them got stuck. The acting was a bit questionable as well. I kept waiting for some sort of backstory about the house...still nothing. The ending was a bunch of BS. They were still stuck in the "escape room" and the Diner was in on it. This should have NEVER been made because it made no sense at all. I gave it a four for trying but I wouldn't waste my tome with this crap again.
