I've now seen this masterpiece twice in two days and I want to see it again because i've just read some different interpretations of the ending that I had discredited when I watched it but now want to see again..
This film is NOT hollywood. People used to having everything spoon fed to them will not like it, and will not even get it. It's subtle, it sets up scenes and like few movies I've had the pleasure of watching. It's pacing is determined and planned. Everything is there for a reason, you just have to care enough to actually see why.
The performances are pretty darn good, Murphy is particularly impressive as Jim.
This Team certainly rebounded well from The Beach.

Indie goodness
I didn't expect much going in but was pleasantly surprised... A dialogue driven film with some pretty good performances.. one of the few roles I've liked both jake busey and denise richards in.. in the vein of the View Askew/Kevin Smith films.. great soundtrack that features.. Modest Mouse and Silver Jews among other indie greats.
