Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Spoils of War
(2023)
Episode 1, Season 2

The pacification of star wars
Fairly good children's television except for dated tropes and terrible character development. With the return of the series, there was hope for things to improve. The bad batch clones still don't use blasters on other clones. For some reason, they still "set to stun" on them. It's really annoying that our "heroes aren't allowed to kill at all. It made it even worse when the giant crabs attack at the beginning of the episode. These "animals" know how to casually lower their heads so Omega's bow bounces off the top harmlessly?? Like what the hell? I know these are minor grievances, but there is no reason for it. The bad batch are not "Jedi" so they don't need to be more reserved. The low rating is so Disney hears the criticism about what is a pretty good show. Heroes can't kill in a war remember! It would make them just as evil.

The Devil's Hour
(2022)

Great ride
The show is chaotically beautiful. Everything and everyone matters to the story. It all comes together. While you don't have to keep your eyes glued to the screen the whole time, the show does reward the viewer with subtle details that make everything clear at the end.

The acting really helps drive the story forward. Peter Capaldi has some of the most captivating moments throughout the show. The son, Isaac, provides a strong performance for a child actor. Every character possesses believable chemistry (or lack there of) with each other. The two police officers were my favorite pairing in the entire show.

Loose Jimmy Fallon and the show is great
Jimmy Fallon goes way over the top. He does not know when to stop and shut up. Keke does great but Fallon needs to go. Have more celebrities rotating through instead of Fallon trivializing the same comedy.

Halo: Contact
(2022)
Episode 1, Season 1

Remember when Chief was a War Hero?
So, Reach is still standing and Chief is betraying the UNSC? Um, what changes to halo canon happened? The helmet also came off... mandalorian showed us we don't have to see an actor's face. These are minor gripes, but makes established fans confused. Maybe as a stand-alone reintroduction, the show can work. They needed to demonstrate that in the marketing.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Return to Kamino
(2021)
Episode 15, Season 1

We lost the siege of kamino arc in legends for this?
This episode is not one of the bad ones for season one. However, the whole season built up to the legends storyline for the siege of kamino. There isn't even a massacre of kamino. All the sad music for the supposed death of the bad batch. The day before this episode premiered, Disney renewed the show for a second season. Any tension and creativity is drained from the show.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Rescue on Ryloth
(2021)
Episode 12, Season 1

Uninteresting and lack of Stakes
This was a super hyped episode and it was a huge let down across the board. At least it has the Batch in it. There are no dangerous stakes anymore. How hard is it to have clone wars like stakes where we might see someone die. This is boring.

Fear of Rain
(2021)

10 stars for casting slenderwoman
I will see her in my nightmares for sure.

This is just another rear window/disturbia type deal. Really fun one though.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Devil's Deal
(2021)
Episode 11, Season 1

Bad Batch? Nope Rebels prequel
So, I'm gonna keep this short as to not spoil things, but the show is more about setting things up for the Rebels show and the original trilogy. This episode alone has so little Bad Batch it's laughable. I get wanting to tell side stories, but this is not the first time they did it. This episode is a far cry from the excellent first episode.
