The Prom
(2020)

Murphy has outcamped himself
This is the campest thing Murphy has ever made. The syrup is poured on SO THICK. The message isn't just rammed down your throat, it's smashed in your face every time someone opens their mouth. It's so over the top though I was laughing in the last scene waiting for all the hetro, conservative reviewers falling over themselves to shovel hate on it.

Bodom
(2016)

LOVED this film
Why is this great films score so low?

This film had me. on the edge of my seat. Great script. Great directing, and brilliant actors.

Sweet River
(2020)

Dissaponting
The writing of this film lets it down. It's like a car that keeps trying to get up the hill but never gets there. It feels like a first draft script that needed to get pushed to a higher level, which is a shame, because you can tell everyone did their best with what they had.

Skinford
(2017)

Why?
I just watched this film on STAN and I have so many questions.

What is with all the terrible accents? Did half the cast have to be young women in their underwear? Was the woman with the camera around her neck brain damaged? Where any of these characters meant to be likeable? It's one of those films that is so bad you can't even laugh. My eyes hurt. My ears hurt.

Save your time and give this one a miss.

The Curse of La Llorona
(2019)

Not bad, not great
Another film where I feel like I've watched this film before. Great acting and production design though.

Blood Vessel
(2019)

Unoriginal
When a script is this unoriginal, I can't believe the film got made. It's literally ideas pulled from already made films, which is why it feels like it was made in the 90's. The only thing going for it is the prosthetic FX and the production design. Besides that it's a mess.
