Buddy Daddies
(2023)

Go without expecting anything and receive everything
It's an anime that I personally didn't expect much from, both in terms of technical aspects, design, and plot (which had few information due to being original), however, it was really good. It had an interesting beginning and an incredible ending. The plot is the main point, it's something worth seeing, while the animation itself is not lacking and doesn't require much fluidity, it still delivers nonetheless. The script is pleasing and not over-the-top.

The main characters start in a certain way, with questionable behaviors, and throughout the episodes, they are developed in a natural way as events unfold. You don't feel like they are rushing or forcing it. The initial and middle episodes are good, but the final three episodes are impactful and set the plot to revolve around the problems to solve, so in the end, watch to find out.

12 Angry Men
(1957)

Simple and good.
"12 Angry Men" is a classic and important film in the history of cinema, but even such an admired film can have its constructive criticisms.

The linearity of the plot. I feel that although the film has been praised for its ability to keep the viewer interested in the story, some may argue that the plot is predictable and there aren't many twists or surprises throughout the film. Additionally, the fact that it takes place almost entirely in a single room can make the experience a bit monotonous and tiring for some viewers.

Finally, the film may be considered dated in terms of its approach to criminal justice. While it was innovative in its time for showing the jury deliberation process, it doesn't address important issues such as systemic racism or unconscious bias present in that context, which are relevant themes in the contemporary discussion about criminal.
