Hi, My Name Is Dicky
(2020)

Well worth a watch
Pretty good little find to be honest. A very honest and sometimes emotional look at mental health and substance abuse issues without any real agenda or anything. Just a well-made and thoughtful documentary.

An Eye for an Eye
(2016)

Not an easy watch but well worth it
A true story about the power of forgiveness for ourselves and for others. It's a really touching story that's graciously told with truth and harrowing honesty.

It's not an easy watch because it touches on some hard truths that some folk would probably rather ignore and the subject matter can feel quite raw. The footage is real and moving.

I'm glad I watched it but I feel numb having done so.

It's a Hard Truth Ain't It
(2018)

Hard not to be moved
First review here but like others have said, this is definitely worth looking at. A different perspective on these types of things is always nice and all, but the message that each person sends is special and has a long-lasting effect. There are some documentaries where afterwards you're left contemplating life; this one makes you realise these people have not only been doing that for years, but will most likely continue doing so for decades more, all the while we have the freedom to make our own choices. Yeah, it hits that hard.
