Don't know why Austen's novel can be so popular through the years because her heroines and plots are a bit boring actually. This is not her fault because women in those days are confined to their homes and had nothing much to do except hoping for a nice husband. Thus the story about Jane Austen's life is no more interesting than her novel.

However the scenery and costumes in this movie are quite delight to the eyes.

If Anne Hathaway's accent was more like British, the movie would be better.

I haven't read the original book but I think the plot of this story is rather ridiculous and sad. James Wilby is superb for this kind of role, I mean the cuckold hahaha. Does he has a face of the poor guy whose wife always cheats on him?

I like this tv drama directed by Emily Mortimer. But I don't like Lily James. She seems quite a bore and all the same in every movie.

Good mobie, though not as staggering as other war movies, and a bit OOC I think.

Such horrible movie to watch. Every scene in this movie is completely mess.
