28 Days Haunted
(2022)

I really tried
I tried to like this. But, first off, it's pretty boring. Not much happens overall. And what does happen is cringe inducing silliness. I actually don't believe they were together for 28 days. And let's be honest, there were some poor casting choices. A few people I liked but the rest just ruined it for me. I expected something better from Tony Spera. I don't blame him completely. It's poorly edited and frankly, too short.

But, if what we saw was the best of it, that's just sad. Jereme Leonard was probably my least favorite. He was completely intolerable. If I had to watch him shoving anymore food down his gullet, I would puke. This kind of drama b.s. Is exactly what turned me against Ghost Adventures.

Day of the Dead
(2021)

I don't hate it...yet
No one to really root for. The characters are either annoying or stupid. It was obviously a Canadian production. Their internet must be out, hence the pic in the sheriffs office? Do better.

F9
(2021)

Valley of the dolls
Obviously, the movie itself was utterly ridiculous. I actually enjoyed the last one after almost giving up on this franchise. But, they all looked so weird. Like they'd been airbrushed. We kept laughing at that, among other things.

I don't expect movies to be completely believable either but come on. They make money so they clearly stopped caring about the story. I missed Hobbs and Shaw but I doubt they could save this steaming pile.

Shock Docs: The Curse of Lizzie Borden
(2021)
Episode 6, Season 2

Just no
I'm a big fan of Dave. He's the only reason I watched this. Chris Fleming and Sam are just ridiculous >Overly dramatic and goofy. Why they were used for this is beyond me. Cindy Kaza would have been a much better choice. Dave, make better choices with your next project...I just can't take this seriously at all.

Expedition Bigfoot
(2019)

Sheer idiocy
If I did believe in Bigfoot, this team would make me change my mind. Yes, they're that goofy. I'm still not sure why I watched it. Everything is a sign of Bigfoot. I'm not sure who's more ridiculous, Ronny or Russell.

Dr Mayer must have really needed the money to be involved in this hot mess. She tries to be objective. I would never enter the woods with these buffoons, especially Ronny. And Bryce, who never gets his hands dirty, just takes witness accounts at face value. Everything is true as long as it fits his narrative. The only reason I gave this 3 stars is the unintentional laughs I get.

Kindred Spirits
(2016)

Once really good... Now meh
I'm a skeptic when it comes to most mediums. I find Cindy Kaza very credible. But, Chip comes off as a huckster. He always seems to be fishing- Red flag. And he's dreadfully obnoxious. I suggest a google search of him. Very enlightening. Overall, they seem to be adding unnecessary drama. It doesn't feel the same at all. Yep, I'm done...

The House in Between
(2020)

Not for me...
I was never fan of Steve. He's not great on TV and comes off as smug a lot. But, recently I've started to like him more. That being said, this doc is a joke. I can't believe I sat through the whole thing. What a waste of resources. And the people giving this 10/10 are clearly plants. No way this is even remotely perfect. It's not even average. I was actually surprised how bad it was. And what's with the crying?

Dream Home Makeover
(2020)

Was ok at first but...
I didn't mind the show at first but then I watched the last episode. The "designer" really showed her true colors. She was rude and made it all about herself. I felt so uncomfortable watching it play out. She literally humiliated the woman who was wanting a bedroom makeover for her husband. If Shea wasn't skilled enough to give them what they wanted, she should have declined. But, she took their money and gave them her typical boring room. I hope she watched this and realizes how ugly she appeared. I'll never watch them again.

Raccoon Valley
(2018)

Well done
I thought Teri did an awesome job. I watched, at first, simply because I loved The Blackwell Ghost. But, I thought it was well done and kept my interest. My husband got a headache, lol. It was intense and creepy. But, she was tough and just did what she had to. How refreshing, aye? Definitely worth a watch.

The Blackwell Ghost 2
(2018)

How can you not like these?
First, I love Turner Clay. He's so engaging and down to earth. And these (real or not) are a joy to watch. I'm kicking myself for not watching them sooner.

Hellier
(2019)

Frustrating and rather stupid...
I've just finished episode 3 and I'm not sure if I want to go any further. These folks need to learn to edit out the filler. This is wayyyy too long. It feels like they talk just to hear themselves. I'm familiar with the Newkirks but was not impressed by them in this instance. I didn't know anything about Pfeiffer until I googled him. He was a contestant on Ghost Hunters academy which made me chuckle. It's hard to take any of this seriously. Watch the Blackwell Ghost. At least it's entertaining...

The Blackwell Ghost
(2017)

Refreshing
The filmmaker is a likable guy and this was just very enjoyable to watch. I was pretty freaked out by the end. He kept it simple and I felt his genuine terror. And at 60 minutes, it doesn't drag you through a bunch of B.s. I can't wait to watch the sequels. Well done...

Endeavour: Zenana
(2020)
Episode 3, Season 7

Who are these people?
This show, while still entertaining, has felt off this season overall. It's hard to find any one to like anymore, Thursday and Morse especially. The writing is definitely lacking. I really don't care if it comes back.

The Repair Shop
(2017)

A pleasure to watch...
I discovered this show on Netflix so I've only had the pleasure of watching two seasons so far. It's heartwarming to see so many saving things from their families. Being sentimental myself, this show is right up my alley. And I've cried more than once. My hope is I get to see the entire series soon.

Manifest
(2018)

First season was interesting....
Interesting premise. Poor casting in some roles but overall, pretty good. Hence, the five stars, which is generous. By the second season, this show is laughably bad. It's almost as if they weren't prepared for a second season and just phoned it in. Definitely changed directions in so many ways. Needless to say, if this train wreck gets a third season, I'll be passing.

A Haunting on Hamilton Street
(2010)

Harnois ruined this for me
I didn't watch these in order but the ones with Harnois almost ruined them for me. I had actually forgotten how ridiculous he is. Shippy needs to keep him far away from any of his productions. He's dreadful.

The Holzer Files
(2019)

Loved the whole series
I didn't have high expectations for this but found it fascinating. All but one episode was excellent. My only real complaint was the tech guy. He was annoying. Overall, one of the best shows on TC. Really hope it comes back.

October Faction
(2020)

So poorly done...
This had a TON of potential. They ruined it with the usual teen angst bull****. Geoff was a total asshat. So annoying and frankly, he's a terrible actor. I'm curious if this was remotely like the graphic novel it's based on.

Deputy
(2020)

Such a disappointing start
Ugh, just ugh. I didn't give up at the very beginning but it really didn't get any better. I expected better from Ayers. What a steaming pile. I'm just thankful he's not an actual sheriff, lol....
