Rasputin
(2010)

Fascinating story of Rasputin
An unusual point of view of one of the most disturbing and controversial characters of the last century. Effective visual choices by Nero and truly immersive narrative voice that guides you perfectly through this fascinating story.

Golem
(2000)

Scelte visive avanguardistiche
Maybe a little slow, but really nothing to say for this first film by the Italian director Louis Nero. Here we can see in their beauty and darkness the cities of the magic triangle: Turin, Prague and Lyon, which are the background for the Golem.

Pianosequenza
(2005)

How long did it take?
I dare not imagine how difficult it was to shoot this film in one breath. I share the stylistic choices of Nero, here very skilled in giving a visually dramatic and sometimes distressing tone. Very interesting!

Il mistero di Dante
(2014)

Dante is on fire!
Very interesting documentary full of hidden information about the much loved Florentine poet. The visual animation scenes are truly beautiful and give an extra touch to the narration proposed here by the director and the intellectuals.

Hans
(2006)

Absolutely amazing.
This film is a masterpiece. With an interpretation that absolutely lives up to the importance of his role, Daniele Savoca perfectly manages to convey the sense of inadequacy and anger he feels throughout his existence. With grim and original visual choices, the director gives the film a distressing and engaging character, absolutely appropriate to the story. This movie deserves to be famous.

The Broken Key
(2017)

Actually not so bad.
Actually it's not so bad as the other reviewers say. The narrative plots are interesting and there is a high level cast. I think the idea of creating a futuristic atmosphere in the fascinating and mysterious Turin, which hosts many visual cues here enhanced by the director, is beautiful. I read that this film has a very low budget... reaching this level without the big Hollywood budgets is a great goal.
