Grounded for Life
(2001)

Brilliant Humor
This is easily one of the best sitcoms ever made. The characters are realistic, everyday types that anyone can relate to. Alas, because it wasn't some formulaic piece of plastic crap, it didn't make it big. I"m thankful for WB network for helping get 5 seasons made.

Check it out. Great laughs.

The Innocent Man
(2018)

Endless Filler
Yet ANOTHER doc that could have been done in half the time. Interesting subject matter and topic but the endless filler and pointless blather drags it out. The blonde so-called reporter with the kardashian accent was particularly irritating.

Read the book instead.

The Informants: Who Killed Nicole?
(2019)

RUFKNKDNGME?
Absolute rubbish. Poorly edited, the so called investigators are morons, and where did Dodi come into play?

Don't waste your time. I wish I hadn't.

The Vast of Night
(2019)

A Bit Tedious
I found it drawn out and in need of editing. This could have been a good short film. I also found it difficult to imagine the older sister not leaving the child with her friend instead of bringing it out into harm's way. The dialogue was meandering and more similar to the pace of blathering millenials but with better diction. No one said "Issues" back then when they meant problems.

All in all an enjoyable movie once you adjust to the filming style. It was a welcome break from jittery camera and rapid cross cutting that is so overused in recent years.

200 Cigarettes
(1999)

Classic!
One of the best comedies I've ever seen. What a cast, what a script, amazing score and talented editing.

The Keepers
(2017)

Could Have Been More Watchable
Alas, yet another overproduced documentary. It was consistently frustrating that the filmmakers dwelled on the process of making the movie instead of the subject material. This was a potentially riveting show that should have been condensed.

Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez
(2020)

Drraaaaagggeeddd out
What is it with documentaries being filled with endless drivel in between the interesting points of a story. What is interesting here is the crime itself and the history of the man, not full length recordings of sentimental prison phone conversations. I made it through 40 minutes of the first episode and had to give up. Frustrating.

There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane
(2011)

Dragged
Very poorly made film. Was there even an editor working on this project? Shoiuld have been shorter and more focused.
