Dolly Parton's Mountain Magic Christmas
(2022)

Only made it 30 minutes in.
Who ever had this idea, wrote, and directed this should have rethought it! Dolly usually has heartwarming shows during the holiday but this seemed like a neverending ad for dollywood. The acting was horrible and the songs strange. After 30 minutes I had to turn it off. Would have been much better if she was just giving an actual concert instead of a movie about trying to make a concert. Don't waste your time! It was hard to watch and I can't get those 30 minutes of my life back. Stick to your regular concerts and your heartwarming stories Dolly! This was so fake and disingenuous it's a complete waste!

No Demo Reno
(2021)

Some Demo Reno...
When you remove walls, tile, cabinets, bathtubs, showers, etc. You are demo-ing! She also has huge budgets to work with. It would be nice to see an actual real no demo reno with some real tight budgets. This is just like any other reno show on TV, they just named it something else and only show short clips of everything.

When Calls the Heart
(2014)

Used to be good
The first 6 season were great. It lost it's appeal when they stopped focusing on the students in the town and started making it a soap with a lovers triangle. It was nice when the storyline followed not only the adults lives but also the student's. Now they only seem to focus on the adults and only add the students in when it's convenient. After all, the show was initially about a school teacher and her students. As a teacher myself, the new drama in the show is less appealing than the first few seasons when it focused more on Elizabeth and her relationship with her students.

Severance
(2022)

Some people are missing the point
Visually appealing, mysterious, and riveting. Yes it is slow, but you have to pay attention to the subtleties. Is this reality? Who is the villain? The unknown is what makes this show! If you need more info to make it better for you, you need to get an imagination.

Awake
(2021)

Horrible!
Great for if you want to fall asleep. Terrible storyline. Bad acting. Wasted my afternoon.

Desperados
(2020)

Terrible!
I'm so tired of movies that show broken crazy women fixing their lives with "love." The lead character is unhappy, jobless, messes up job interviews, can't pay her bills, and thinks finding the right man is going to fix those problems and make her happy. Load of BS! If a woman can't be happy and fix her life by herself, no man will ever make her happy. Also she is crazy! What kind of woman goes to mexico to try to delete an email she sent to a man she has only known for a week? She's also broke, did her friends pay for this? I would never pay for my friend to do something stupid like being a crazy stalker. Also, most men would run as fast as they could from a crazy woman. It was also soooooo not funny! And wtf with the disgusting 12 year old boy? In the end she ends up with the other guy. But did she ever get a job, pay all her past due bill's, and get her car fixed? Nope, but that stuff doesn't matter because she got the guy! All of her problems are solved! In real life her new boo would eventually dump her and she'd still be broke, jobless, and unhappy.

Space Force
(2020)

It's probably not funny if you have no affiliation to the military.
This is hilarious if you know how the military works or have been in the military yourself. I can see how the jokes would go over someone's head who has no idea how the military functions and the weird bureaucratic stuff that goes on. They really do an outstanding job with the satire. We were rolling over laughing with belly aches because it is spot on with military life!
