There was a conversation in this episode, it goes like this.

Poc : in Ireland theres so many white people.

--------- Nick : its getting better.

The writers are convinced that less white people in Ireland is better.

But if you are Irish, you have to know that whites are a minority in the world , the poc make the majority. Ireland is one of the few places where whites are.

Am supposed to rate it an 8 or 7 out of ten bit am only giving it 5 mainly because of the alien/Alan. The dude that plays the alien is awful his facial expressions, his speech, his laughs etc. Alan as an alien is awful. Now I know the director told him to act weird for the alien part but he is acting a bad weird. The people in the show would not go near him with his facial expressions, laughs, speech etc. DArcy would not like Alan. Asta would not Associate with him. The alien costume is silly looking. Not good to look at. These two things ruin it.

Most people on imdb who love this episode do so because, according to them lynch didn't give a resolution. So that makes him a genius . Well I have bad news for you , finding Laura palmer was a bigger resolution than other series out there, cooper used supernatural beings to find laura , its not as easy in other series. Just because they didn't find her parents, you think that's not resolution. Well finding her parents is the easy part. If then she is not Laura, it means the supernatural beings are false too. So why spend a long time watching them?

When he was surrounded by the police in that building, I thought well, there's no tension. He could beat all the police outside and everyone else too, so why is he scared? He could beat everyone in the world with his hands, dodging bullets etc. Action tv is too simple to be honest.

Champagne for my real friends. This series is amazing because it features university students who we get to see them deal with their studies a little bit. There are few series which involves that, here in the finale we watch as oregan gets a 2:2, which makes her lie to her parents. That's very interesting because student at uni who get the same grade will feel oblige to lie too, especially if you started well and had great promise. I like what they did with the grades thing with Howard getting a first. Vod getting 2:1.

The series ask a really significant question and that is " is university really useful?", As their output from it is not not so good Which gives a whole look to the title "fresh meat". My answer is - ofcourse it's useful to train professionals for ones country but the fact that not everyone gets something from it despite paying a large sum is risky , and that goes with what the series is asking.

The ending is very good, that's how goodbyes feel in real life, just people leaving one after the other. Vanishing into thin air.

This is a very good episode that consists of the wife p*ssing off the husband who just retired from a long term job.

The scences are interesting and funny.

Theres one where the wife gives the dog steaks and the husband oat meal.

Another involves the wife bathing the fish in their bathtub. While the ending is not one of the serie's best it's just enough and the main body of the episode is very good.

Without a doubt, the only ones which come close are the earlier episodes where mason was ontop form (burglary, pushing drugs) This episode breaks the routine of the show a little bit, which was 99 percent accidentally deaths. Here there is a murder but unlike the previous one which was a mass shooting , we get a better story here and better details. Here George is meant to reap a singer. Georgie meets a woman at the show who tells her how to get closer to the singer. The way they layout the story is very impressive.

Currently the average rating of this episode on imdb is 6.5 , In my opinion its better than alot of episodes in this series that have 7.5 ratings. This came out in 1993, years before mulholand drive, yet alot of tricks david lynch used are found in this episode. In my opinion the dream sequence is Johnny's and he did it as justification for killing Lucy. In his head she would betrayed him anyway, so why not shoot her?. Its a good episode especially because the plot twist really makes sense here. He knew he would be packed with regret and it shows cause after he shoot her, he said "goodbye baby".

This is a really fast paced comedy. Gay dad/crooked brother /ex wife all living with or around the main character. Second episode is really good.

If not the best. This episode is definitely better than "the doll" episode. In this one alot of the elements of Larry's troubles link up. Jeff's dog is sick and he cries about it , but that's what his wife think , rather he is crying about a bet he lost to a Korean bookie , who might have eaten his dog . There are other elements which intersect too including his jacket being stained by a friend who pays for it and him paying for damaging someones car. This is one of the best episodes if not the best, here you dont have to wait a while for the next joke or irony.

In the west, women like to go naked especially in the summer, people from Islamic countries will say they need to be fully clothed. Go out and you will see these women drunk and wearing skimpy clothes, that what girls like, but the feminist want to tell us that the thong is a sexist beauty standard. If it were up to some it will be banned along with the other skimpy clothes females wear. And if they are banned the feminist will say it is sexist too.

Alot of people praise john Malkovich as a good part of the show but I think he is the major reason why the jokes dont land well for alot of people. Malkovich is monotonous and does not Express himself very well as a scientist who is amused by the anti-intellectual Steve Carroll. Alot of the jokes Malkovich would just say It with no emotion that connect to make you want to laugh. For example Steve said something dumb like "the moon is flat ", Malkovich would respond with something along the line like "your thinking amuse me" but Malkovich says this with the same voice he uses to explain science stuff. He does not Express amusement. So that I think, is the main reason why alot of people are complaining that the series is not comedic. Maybe the creators prefer it that way, but it still needs something more from Malkovich. Plus there are parts of the show that some off as if the creators weren't trying to be funny, I.e huge part of episode one, huge part of the lunar similation etc. so maybe people only watch the first episode and close the show.

The scences from the first episode is replicated . a bunch of people just go on shooting guns at others, the guns make loud noises but police are nowhere to be seen. The guns are over dramatic too. The Guns they use are not machine guns but they make it look that way.
