Creepshow: Night of the Living Late Show
(2021)
Episode 5, Season 2

Worst Episode of Creepshow
This was by far the worst episode of Creepshow so far. I had listened to the show runner and he said they had filmed an episode with Marilyn Manson, but cut the episode because of the allegations against him. My guess is that they filmed this quickly because it didn't take much time to film since they were reusing footage from Horror Express and Night of the Living Dead anyways. I didn't think the episode on its own as a 20 minute segment would be that bad, but it's obvious it's purposefully padded to extent it to 41 minutes, which just makes the whole thing boring and uninteresting. You know what's going to happen a few minutes in and yet have to keep watching for a whole 30 more minutes to see it.

I Can Only Imagine

Emotional Redemption
This movie really got me emotional. At the end of the day it's mainly a story about a mans relationship with his father and how people can change. It's a story of redemption and forgiveness. Dennis Quaid was great and J Michael Finley came across as very charismatic. The films even self aware enough that it makes a comment on the fact J Michael Finley is playing a high schooler and looks 35. I'm glad they kept with the same actor for the high school portions though since he did such a great job. This is definitely a film worth seeing.

A Wrinkle in Time

Horrible!
This is probably the worst Disney movie I've ever seen. It's also probably the worst movie I've seen this year. The movie for starters is flat out BORING. The majority of the film is people standing around talking, and they aren't talking about anything interesting or that advances the plot in most cases. There's some beautiful imagery here, but then there's also too much green screen and CGI going on that it just loses it's luster. What is the deal with this director also? There were probably 70+ shots inches away from each actors face. It didn't look pretty and was extremely distracting to me. Somehow this director had all of these great actors and couldn't even get anything out of the majority of them. Chris Pine was about the only person that did a good job here. I would not recommend this to anyone. It's unbelievable that this is a film with a budget over $100 million. They should have never even released this travesty.

Tomb Raider
(2018)

A good video game movie!
Wow! This was actually really cool. One of the better video game films. Most video game films have honestly not been that great. The only real ones I personally have loved in the past are Mortal Kombat and Warcraft. This was actually really good though. Definitely stays close to its roots and does Lara Croft right. Would recommend to anybody that loves the more recent Tomb Raider games.
