The Gentlemen
(2024)

Masterpiece from Guy Ritchie
Guy Ritchie's storytelling prowess has been celebrated by a certain segment of audience starting with Lock Stock or Snatch if not earlier.

This one in some ways a sequel to The Gentlemen (Movie) but has a very fresh approach to that foundation. It starts a bit slow but picks up towards the second half of the first episode. Post that the way the subject is handled and the artistic depth with which it's showcased - it blows your mind. Personally, I couldn't stop before I finished the entire series and I cant wait for season 2.

It has everything that you want from a Guy Ritchie Series and more. Quick shoutout to the cast specially Ray Winstone & Kaya Scodelario. I felt Theo James was good too and held the series tightly together along with other incredible actors.

Series Binging completely recommended!

12th Fail
(2023)

Awesome Movie - Just go ahead and watch it without a second thought
I am not a prolific reviewer, but few movies that come around once in a blue-moon have such a massive impact on you that you want to share the experience and absolutely congratulate the whole team for such a Masterpiece.

Even if you look at the movie with the most critical eye it's almost impossible to find any flaws. Starting from the storytelling including the Direction & screenplay to the acting spanning across the lead and supporting cast everything just fits in perfectly.

Civil servant theme has been fairly used to concoct web series related to IAS/IPS by TVF, however it's refreshing to see that topic being navigated with so much of subtlety and finesse to bring out the painful and challenging journey some of the aspirants go through to achieve their goals.

A must watch!

Sam Bahadur
(2023)

Good Movie and great depiction by Vicky Kaushal.
The movie goes along at a swift pace and does give you a good glimpse of what Sam Manekshaw was made of. It's a realistic depiction of how the Army is and is a treat to watch how effortlessly Meghna Gulzar & Vicky Kaushal tell this great tale of courage and valour while keeping the humorous side of the character intact.

Decent performances by the other actors too, while in my view the movie is pivoted by Vicky's performance as it should be. The depiction of a defence leader who was able to connect on an individual level with thousands of troops under his command has been captured beautifully too.

Definitely recommend this one - worth the time.
