This movie itself is more to romance than horror. The ghosts in the movie are just quiet and harmless. The movie casts are enjoyable to watch and Karay's part is quite funny. Mario is such a dreamboat and the movie makes me want to explore Chiang Mai's highland even more!

1st - it's in black & white & it's silent, meaning the movie is mute & you need to read the captions provided as their dialogue. Thankfully this only applied to the 1st story. Boring haunted house kinda plot & meaningless.

2nd - everything happened at a haunted convenient store, with a bit of plot twist in the end. Surprisingly Noo didn't died. This story is the best among all 3.

3rd - just a ghost haunting men inside an elevator.

Not bad for a Malaysian-made found footage kinda horror movie. The script, story plot and scary parts are good despite been a low budget movie. Some of the scripts are quite humourous too.

Watched this on Netflix. Though the movie filming is a bit dark which you need to increase the brightness to watch clearly but it has a few effective jump scares and some scenes are quite creepy especially with the old and haunted missionary school settings. Don't expect any romance in this movie. Overall not bad.

Watched this on Netflix. A very boring and lousy plot...Hopeless and selfish mother who can't even try to be a good mum to the kids which leads to her encounter with the vampire. Horrible acting from the lead actress as well.

Overall the movie is not bad, the only downside is they never explain why the ghost wants both Tan and Chester to be dead. Stella's has a very minor role in the movie, could've been better if her character can be developed further.

Only Nayan is the funniest in the movie, enjoyed watching his part, the rest of the cast are so lame. The elves part and the actors singing part (except for Datuk Vida's singing which is quite funny) are such waste of time.

The story's quite common compared to other movies just that this movie is related to Hawaiian withcrafts. One funny thing I found in this movie is it is so easy to replace the soul in someone's body.

First the person just need to cook a pot of unidentifiable black liquid, then poured the black boiling liquid over another person's body which it won't even burn the skin! Then they recited the Haiwaiian curse and ta da... the person's soul has been replaced...amazing.

The ending should ends with the nanny driving the car to leave the place. Who knows, this is just a vision when she's looking at her mother's black painting and the movie continued with a stupid ending.

It will be good if the filmmakers can redeem themselves by coming back with a sequel to show how the five soldiers deal with the curses and demonic family in the simulation.

I did not watched the trailer and I am glad I didn't. Had so much emotions while watching this. The start of the movie was quite disturbing when they showed about Black Slavery during the American Civil War era. Slowly you'll come to think that : ok, this movie isn't horror after all. Suddenly, the lead actress woke up on her comfy bed in present day and you started to wonder: what's going on? is this movie about time-travelling? This continues with the familiar antagonist faces appearing in present day. The creepy part kicks in when the little girl (antagonist's daughter in 1800s dress) appeared inside the hotel elevator together with the lead actress and you'll think: is this little girl a ghost? The movie keeps you in suspense when lead actress got abducted until it brought us back to the Civil War era again. It all come into light when the old soldier went to retrieve his Iphone from the horse saddle. What? An Iphone? Only came to realise that it's all happening in present day! And the suspense continues till the end of the movie. Definitely a must-watch!

Disappointed with the ending where everyone died and the two lousy servants got away with their loots!

It's like watching a Shaw Brothers movie but in Thai language. The old man ghost's make up looks quite scary! Overall it has a proper ending.

Although both actors are good but the story is sucks. Just fast forward the movie to watch the ending after watching the first 30 minutes. Not horror at all, very boring and makes you sleepy.

A good quality horror movie with proper scenes and storyline. Only dislike the ending where the antagonist got away with all the murders.

Watching this movie for the second or third time after 13 years and it still giving me the creeps at some scenes! Especially with the help of the ghosts' make-up which looks quite real and some effective jumpscares. Overall a classic Thai horror.

Couldn't stand the actress who played Rose. Terrible, no facial expression. The movie has a lousy ending.

Typical amusement park haunted house/Escape room-style movie where a bunch of kids seeking for a thrill at a so called 'haunted house' and got what they bargained for. Quite satisfied with the ending, the main character did learn something from her haunted house experience. It'll be better if they could add a short background story on the masked villains with creepy facial modifications.

A supernatural horror movie with a good story, visual quality and interesting ending. Do watch it till the end where everything will be revealed.

Don't get mistaken by the movie title, it is ain't no cheap B-movie. The storyline's quite interesting. If only the ghost would've appeared earlier, this could prevent the father from been shot and killed by Reggie. Knowing that the father disposes dead bodies to make a living, hence it would be a retribution to him to die in the end. Heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

Why didn't they explain the history of the dress and why it causes rashes on the chest of those who wore it? Who is the first to own the dress and Why/How is the dress been cursed? Overall first part of the movie is entertaining and enough whereas the second part of the movie is a good waste of time.

I watched it with the title "Dark was the night". It's a typical monster-in-the-woods movie where everywhere is dark and you can't see a thing until it was revealed in the end. Liked the characters in the movie and no complaint for their acting.

The best part is it turns out that there are more than one monster in the end when you thought that everything is over and okay!

This remake makes reference to the first American remake and the storyline looks promising and picks up in the beginning with all the jumpscares start to come in. However the ending went down the drain after the climax where the lead actress burns down the house.

Can the storywriters come out with something different and more creative instead of sticking to the same old predictable ending where the curses/ghosts couldn't be exorcised or got rid of? Disappointed.

As long as you got the relationship map of the characters (and how Bea is related to Budoy) right, you will be able to understand the whole story better.

The story is quite slow at the beginning and starts to pick up towards the end.
