This is a Cronemberg movie so this already provides information on what to expect.

I found it more understandable than other films by the director but it retains all its fascination with horror, mystery and human perversions. At first it seems like a treatise on the meaning of art but gradually muted in the need to adapt to the change that man himself has brought to the planet. I found the protagonist's look of relief at the end of the film to be a positive touch in a film otherwise controlled by the compulsions and passions of the characters. I believe that acceptance of oneself is the only solution in the face of change as the protagonist understands after having spent years eradicating what he considered deformations from his own body.

Nice comedy about misunderstandings and women. Nothing of innovative but fun to watch. The story unfolds between betrayals, women, debts and an unexpected stroke of luck.

Really nice movie with an interesting story and great songs even if I think there was an exaggerated fury towards Mirabel. The grandmother was of a cruelty that rivaled Cinderella's stepmother. She was so obsessed with maintaining the community that she forced her son to live in hiding and her granddaughter into a life of disappointment. In reality none of the granddaughters are happy in their role but they sacrifice themselves for the family. I wish I could have seen a little more of the rest of the family but I understand time was limited.

It is a parody of the 90's fantasy video games filled with weird or simply stupid characters that make our protagonists live adventures bordering on ridicule but always fun.

Nice series but absolutely nonsense and with a very edgy design style that doesn't even last that long but that seems to go even faster with one gag after another and a succession of escalations.

The whole series is based on the character of Taz who alone with his angry and stupid character alone supports the plot of each episode. The rest of the family are just supporting actors.

B-series movie clumsily acted with a plot that limps rather than drags on. As oddity it resembles a book by Jules Verne and it is not a compliment. I was surprised that no matter how careless and confused the girls in this movie are, in fact they are the ones who carry on the story and prove to be much more enterprising and decisive than one might expect. In ptraica they are a fusion of Princess Leia from Star Wars and Red Sonja.

Movie exaggerated from every point of view with every male actor looking like Rambo under stereodes and every female actress looking like a supermodel. Lots of shootings, explosions and boobs but very little plot and a stereotypical villain to the point of exaggeration.

I have to be honest. The premise of the movie could be interesting and offer different ideas but the comedy is kept on very modest levels and loses many opportunities.

It's not a bad movie but it remains insignificant and completely forgettable.

Aesthetically it is an amazing movie, not for everything else. The story might be nice but there are too many plot holes and forcing in the script. Everyone wants the gem but no one tells us why they want it. It is said to be magical but the only power we see is that it pushes the drumm away, so it was perfectly useless in the 500 years that the Drumms weren't there.

The movie repeats ad nauseam that problems arose because people didn't trust each other and started creating boundaries. But I wonder if for 500 years the 5 kingdoms went on even if divided, maybe that wasn't the problem.

Another thing is that at the end of the movie Raya has to trust the enemy who has betrayed her several times. Perhaps the problem is not trust but too much trust in the wrong people.

There is no decent villain. Drumms are as dangerous as a natural disaster. Terrible but casual, they don't act out of malice. Raya's friend / enemy and her mother actually act because they want to help their people by showing more sense than Raya who throughout the movie shows a certain insensitivity to the situations in which others find themselves. His only goal is to get his father back.

Cartoon done well even if the idea is not very original.

Digimon and Pokemon have been taught too well which keys to tap to appeal to young audiences.

In the early 21st century there was a whole genre dedicated to kids who would catch monsters and then make them fight each other.

I think the best characters were Lilim and General Durahan, two villains who were the best episode of the series in their departure.

A mockery of Japanese culture that is bad but perfectly acceptable in those days.

A good martial art movie but with some exageration that make it funnier than epic. When i see body that blows up after being hit by a sword and arrows that are powerful as bazooka, i think something is not right.

I liked how Lefou changed from the original movie, the special effect and Emma Watson but i wonder why Disney felt the need to explain why Belle's mother and the parents of the beast were not in the movie.

I hated that they changed songs, Belle's father and how they depicted the beast.

Gaston was ok.

An other funny comedy from Franco and Ciccio this times between pirates and ships. The blackbeard pirate is trying to recover a treasure but has the misfortune of meeting Franco and Ciccio who are in possession of the map to find it.

Not very funny but has its moment. The moral is that who want too much at the end has nothing or worse. But I wonder how much effort it takes to support two wives. Salaries in those days must have been really high.

Some episodes about liars, crooks and thieves. Some are funny other less but always at some level.

I don't know how much this movie is really worth because a bad episode can ruin the others too but the same thing is also true in reverse.

Alberto Sordi in one of his last movie where he is a manager who with lies and scams rise to success. It's a satire of the world of the finaces and the people who live there.

Satire of medics and hospitals where money is more important than people. Other great work by Alberto Sordi years before Michael Moore.

He did nothing but show the quarrels of the system but for this very reason it is funny because it exaggerates reality by causing laughter.

This movie has some good moments but is not able to make people laugh like it should.

There are several opportunities that have been missed or that just haven't been seen.

This movie was boring, terribly boring with some characters that are flat as board and nothing worth to remember.

Or you remember it because it was awful to watch.

A lot of strange characters in a movie which tries to be funny but fails many times even if the plot was not so terrible.

This comedy is part of the large circle of those comedies which, although not filthy, fail in their objectives.

Not really funny but it has to be watched only for the clothes of the beautiful Elizabeth Hurley.

The plot is not particularly complicated. There is the tempting devil who comes to earth and tries to corrupt a wimp by fulfilling his wishes as if he were a genie out of the lamp. It goes without saying that each wish will have worse consequences than the previous one.

Boccaccio has to have come back from the dead to direct this movie because seems a part of the Decameron. This is what you see when you try to set ''animal house'' in the fifteen century.

A serie well done with good special effect but some plotholes that are hard to miss. All the story turn around a swamp where no one seems sane neither the main character who has a skeleton in the closet or the swamp if you prefer.
