Very disappointing The new showrunner has completely retcon'd the storyline and ignored the previous narrative from S8&9. It's like they never happened. I realize this is supposed to be Elizabeth's story, but the nonchalant way the whole town reacted to the break up was disturbing. In addition, Elizabeth let her students believe that Lucas was the one who did the breakup. Not true. So many characters are portrayed differently than last season, especially Elizabeth. Lucas is portrayed as clueless about what's going on, but he sacrifices his own happiness to save the town that now couldn't care less about him. Heartbreaking end. So it seems that the story will go back to the Mountie. Talk about regressing. The one bright spot was Henry's story. That was beautiful. During the baptism, Joseph welcomed the new baby into the community, but I guess Lucas had to be discarded in order to do that.
