The Mistletoe Secret
(2019)

I don't care what anyone else thinks, I Love this movie!
I honestly don't care what anyone else thinks I've watched this movie 4 times in the last 6 months and I absolutely LOVE it!

I love the story and how it all plays out and I really Love Tyler Hanes, he is such a great actor and so handsome, layed back and funny! I've been a fan of Kellies since she first step on to the American Idol stage! I think Kellie did a pretty good job for not being a trained actress. I think she was a bit stern and or aloof when she should have been more upbeat and bubbly like her real personality, but that is the director telling her to act a certain way so I fault the director for many of the inconsistencies with her acting more than I do her. She is just as cute as a button!

The sets were all really nice and Christmassy and all the other cast of characters were great and that just lifted the movie up and made it an overall fun and charming movie to watch.

Maybe I'm just weird but this is one of my favorite Hallmark Christmas movies and I will definitely be rewatching it.

Christmas by Starlight
(2020)

A Lovely Christmas movie!
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Great chemistry between Paul and Kimberly and they both played their parts perfectly. I loved the humor in this movie, it was a breath of fresh air.

I will definitely watch this again next year or maybe Christmas in July!

It truly baffles me that people would give this movie a rating of 1 or 2 because it's similar to another movie, big deal! Have they never seen the 100's of remakes or movies similar to Sherlock Holmes, or A Christmas Carol?? They are all different and unique takes in their own right and I've enjoyed many of them, as I did this movie which had its own unique take and not the same as Two Weeks Notice. They should have kept watching this movie because it was charming, Christmassy, romantic and touching. A really good movie if they'd only given it a chance.

One Royal Holiday
(2020)

One of Hallmark's Best!!
I absolutely love this feel good movie!! I just watched this movie for the 2nd time this Holiday season, 5 times since this past July and all I have to say is I love it just as much each time I watch it.

The two lead actors Laura Osnes and Aaron Tveit were absolute perfection as were all the others in the cast. I'm really hoping for a part 2 to see how things ended up for everyone.

It had humor, romance, love and friendship as well as singing and so much Christmas cheer!! It really is a feel good movie, if you're feeling a little down or frazzled from all the Christmas shopping, cooking, wrapping etc. Put your feet up and put this movie on and you'll feel better in no time!

The Holiday Sitter
(2022)

Gay or straight I simply adore Jonathan Bennett! I Loved this movie!
Gay or straight I simply adore Jonathan Bennett! I've loved watching Jonathan since Cake Wars, Cupcake Wars, Holiday, and Halloween wars, he always made those shows fun and entertaining.

I've seen Jonathan play straight roles and gay roles and he plays his part perfectly, so I never knew if he was straight or gay in real life that is the sign of a great actor. His being gay or straight quite frankly doesn't make a difference to me!

Jonathan is a very fine and underrated actor.

He did a great job in this very funny rom-com. He had me laughing so much throughout this movie! The guy who played his love interest did a really great job as well. I loved the way the story unfolded and how the story ended. I think the movie was made in very good taste, there wasn't a bunch of slobbering all over each other. It was all about friendship, love, and family and that all families do not look the same, but we all love the same. The movie had humor, heart, friendship, and love, and everything was decorated very Christmasy, all the things I look for in a very good Christmas movie.

For myself and my family and friends who happen to be gay, we applaud Hallmark for reaching out and being more inclusive with their storylines.

I'm very glad Jonathan got to make a movie that he felt very strongly about. I get it some people feel very uncomfortable watching gay lovers or it goes against their religion, this is not the movie for them to watch but luckily there are thousands of other movies on hundreds of different channels to watch.

I will be rewatching this movie again tonight I loved it so much! I look forward to laughing my head off once again and applauding when they finally get together in the end!

A Fabled Holiday
(2022)

Wonderful Fairytale Christmas movie. Reminds me of Once Upon a Time
I've been so looking forward to this movie since two of my favorite actors are in it, the adorable Brooke D'Orsay and the Oh so handsome Ryan Paevey with his sexy voice! They did not disappoint. Everyone did a great job acting in this which is a big plus for this or any movie.

This movie deviates quite a bit from the normal Hallmark fare, yes there is Romance 3 romances to be exact but there is a supernatural/fairytale bent to the story, unlike anything they've done before. I liked that this movie had the other couple and Charles who also had issues to overcome instead of the movie solely focusing on Talia and Anderson. It added substance instead of taking away from the main characters.

This movie reminded me a lot of the ABC TV show Once Upon a Time. Nothing is as it seems at least it's not for our 2 couples and the older gentleman who just lost his wife. I really enjoyed the fairy tale feeling of this movie. From the narrator to the hand-drawn looking book pages and chapter introductions, this movie took its name to heart. Which I found endearing.

The town of Wunderbrook, specifically its inhabitants, are so fascinating and raise so many questions - questions far beyond ones I've ever asked about a Hallmark movie. In fact, too many questions are raised about the origins and rules of Wunderbrook to be answered in one Hallmark movie, it also seems a bit rushed especially at the end, this would have been better if it was either a 3 hour movie or a movie with a sequel. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping there is a follow-up next year that explores more of the wonders and mysteries of Wunderbrook and also an update on Talia & Anderson and Charles!

They did wrap the movie up pretty well and most of the questions are answered by the end. You really need to pay attention to what everyone does and says especially the first 15 minutes or so to figure out why things are the way they are. I truly enjoyed it but like I said I think it would have been more enjoyable in two parts, also I think they needed to add more Christmas decorations and more Christmas fun activities it did start to feel a little slow with too much dialogue and not enough activity! In essence, it felt a bit rushed to try and get everyone's story explained and wound up in a tidy bow within 2 hours.

Despite some shortcomings, I did find it a great way to spend 2 hours, I really liked the movie and I do recommend it.

Christmas on Candy Cane Lane
(2022)

Much better than I thought it was going to be, I ended up really enjoy the movie!
I'm not sure what's going on with IMDB but this is the third time I've written and submitted a review for this movie that did not go through and just disappeared???

On to the review. I started watching this movie and it just didn't click with me so I stopped watching half an hour into it. I did not delete it from my DVR because I figured I might try watching it the next day, maybe I wasn't enjoying it because I was tired and cranky, well I did start watching it again this afternoon and I ended up really enjoying it.

While the acting wasn't Oscar worthy it was pretty good a few actors were even excellent in their roles.

The messages were clear, it was about family, traditions, friendships, not judging, healing, forgiveness, love, and of course Christmas. Everything was decked out beautifully for Christmas! Loved the Santa dinosaur lol

This movie had romance, humor, and some warm and tender moments, it had me shed a tear or two that's how I know it's a very good movie when it can literally move me to tears! I will definitely watch this again next year. It's definitely worth watching at least once.

I do have a large gripe to pick with IMDB and GAC network. There are 3 African Americans that have huge roles in this movie, they actually had about equal time throughout the movie as the three that are supposedly the main characters but their pictures nor their names are listed anywhere!! I checked here, on the GAC network, online, and even on my DVR nope not listed. That really, really makes me mad! My favorite character and the best actor of the bunch was the Handyman but I don't know what his name is because he's not listed! What is up with that??

Christmas on the Range
(2019)

Wonderful movie!
I really enjoyed this movie. It was well acted, a cut above many of the Hallmark/Gac/UP movies in my opinion. While I wouldn't really call this a Christmas movie per se there was smatterings of Christmas here and there and some places were nicely decorated for Christmas.

The two leads, both very good looking, had great chemistry! The story unfolds slowly as does the romance which kept me engrossed in the story/movie. There was action, romance, angst, anger, humor, jealousy and Love! All human emotions played out perfectly in this unfolding drama with a touch of Christmas.

I loved seeing the ever gorgeous and great actress Lindsay Wagner. I really hope we see more of her in the future.

The other actors in the movie did a great job and they all brought a lot of humor to the movie.

I will rewatch this movie again next Christmas. I highly recommend this movie.

A Christmas... Present
(2022)

I love Candace and I love a movie with a great message, but........
I love Candace and I love a movie with a great spiritual message, but sadly however I didn't love this movie. I liked it and I watched the whole movie it's just not one I'd want to watch again. I found Candace's character annoying, controlling, and high-strung, which did not make me feel super relaxed nor did it put me in the Christmas mood, until maybe the last 45 minutes or so.

The movie does get better from maybe the midpoint until the end., but before that, I was getting a bit bored and uncomfortable I almost stopped watching. I am glad I did not stop watching.

I enjoyed her brother played by Paul Fitzgerald. More than anyone else, he had the greatest messages to portray, and his acting was stellar! The outside scenes especially in the backyard near the fire pit were so beautifully decorated, as was downtown and the outside of the church was beautiful. So there were some very positive aspects of the movie but there were also the above negatives so it was a mixed bag for me.

I would have given the movie around a 6 but I bumped my score up because, A. I love the religious aspect of the movie, we get far too few anymore, and B. I know there are many very petty people that are going to show up to rate this movie a 1 or 2. They will downvote a movie they clearly did not watch and was clearly not made with them in mind, but they can't help but show up and downvote a religious movie, or a movie starring Candace because they know of her religious beliefs, or to say religion was shoved down their throats when of course it was not, they had a choice NOT to watch the movie! I don't know why people do that If I don't like a certain genre of movie I just don't watch, I don't go online and downvote those movies I just move on with my day and watch something I will enjoy. It boggles my mind.

All and all a good movie with some very positive messages sadly for me, not as good as I'd hoped. It is definitely worth a watch and I'm glad I did finish watching it.

I'm Glad It's Christmas
(2022)

Wonderful, feel good movie!
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! I absolutely adore Paul Greene and will watch him in anything he stars in, when he smiles his whole face just lights up and such kindness shines out, he makes me feel good just looking at him.

I didn't realize what a great musician and singer he is until this movie. The rest of the cast were all so highly talented especially Jessica and her beautiful voice! I really enjoyed all the music and singing it was festive, beautiful and fun! Loved seeing the incomparable Gladys Knight, she looked and sound fantastic!

I really enjoyed the storyline, it's not the basic Christmas romance formula we've all seen on Hallmark, no this starts out with him letting the girl know upfront that he likes her and really would like to date her, she also feels the same but because she thinks she might be leaving and moving back home she doesn't immediately act on her feelings. They both grow to care about each other while putting together a Christmas concert. Jessica has a huge choice to make... what will she do?? I'm not saying but suffice it to say I think they all live happily ever after! (As they should!) Everything was so Christmassy looking that it put me in the mood to get up today and start decorating my own home for Christmas!

I really enjoyed the movie and will definitely watch it again.

Christmas at the Drive-In
(2022)

I really enjoyed seeing Danica and Neal back together again.
This was a light hearted and fun little movie that I really enjoyed.

Danica and Neal Bledsoe have a great on screen chemistry. They were both very good in this movie as well as the rest of the cast.

The premise may seem far fetched and maybe it is, but everything they did to try and save the drive-inn from making cake pops to putting up all kinds of beautiful festive decorations, I found lovely and charming.

I did take off a few points because something kept sticking in my craw, did she not say she came home to help his dad get historical status for the Drive-in? If that were the case than he could not sell it nor could they demolish it! Also the ever handsome Neal Bledsoe's hair annoyed me they dyed his gorgeous dark/salt and pepper hair some kind of yellowish brown and it appeared he didn't comb his hair through the entire filming of the movie. This may sound superficial to some but it was very distracting to me and it detracted from his very good looks.

This was a fun little movie if you don't take it too seriously, a great way to relax and wallow away a few hours. I would definitely watch again!!

Haul Out the Holly
(2022)

A great Rom-Com
I was so happy to see that there was a new Christmas movie starring Lacey Chabert, she is my favorite Hallmark actress. I also always adore the very handsome Wes Brown! This movie was a great departure from the other movies I've seen them in, they were so relaxed, funny and quirky.

This movie feels quintessential Hallmark, but it also feels somewhat different than what we've grown to expect from the channel. This wasn't a full on or forced romance it was definitely more of a Rom-Com and I laughed quite a bit throughout. It really was very enjoyable.

The writing is fantastic - the lines feel youthful and fun. The delivery of the lines is amazing and funny and that's due to the fantastic ensemble cast! Lacey Chabert. Wes Brown. Melissa Peterman. · Stephen Tobolowsky. Ellen Travolta. Peter Jacobson and Eliza Hayes Maher. Also keep a look out for a few of our favorite Hallmark men who make brief cameos Eric Mabius and Kristoffer Polaha While this was not a 10 for me as I've seen other movies that I've enjoyed more for a myriad of reasons, plus this did start out a little slow so I had to remove a few points. This is definitely a solid 8 but I'm giving it a 9 to combat the ridiculously low ratings by others. It did start out a little slow but once it got going it really was great fun and well worth 2 hours of your time!

This is a movie I will definetly watch at least one more time this Holiday season, and every year here after.

Christmas Waltz
(2020)

My all time favorite Hallmark movie!
Lacey is my favorite Hallmark actress and this is my very favorite of all the Hallmark movies I've seen. There are many wonderful Hallmark movies that I just adore but this one is tops for me. I love the slowly getting to know each other and being friends and not romantic partners until without them even knowing it, they've find they've fallen in love! It wasn't a forced romance if that makes any sense.

I, like another reviewer stated think the movie ended a bit abruptly this movie would have benefitted with at least one more scene to full flesh out the entire story but it was still great the way it was.

Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp have great chemistry throughout. And I truly hope they will do a lot more movies together. I really enjoyed the dancing so much! Will Kemp who is a professional dancer did a fantastic job and Lacey who just learned how to dance for this movie did a spectacular job with the limit training she got. I really loved the nod to Singing in the rain, I only wish the scene was longer or repeated somewhere else during the movie, because it was so good! I also got a real kick out of the scene when Lacey was trying to make Will some breakfast it remind me of my daughter and something she would end up cooking and I just started laughing!

I loved all the gorgeous clothing she wore throughout the movie too, she must have had a great stylist!

I've watched this movie at least 3 or 4 times since July and I'm leaving it on my DVR so I can watch it again when I'm having a bad day or when I just want to feel warm and fuzzy!

Crown for Christmas
(2015)

I loved this movie!
No matter how improbable the actual storyline is or may be, I truly loved every second of this movie!

Danica is one of my very favorite leading ladies of Hallmark movies. She always looks so beautiful and her acting is always perfect.

This was not just a romance movie it dealt with the loss of a little girls mother and her desire to spend more time with her very busy father. Having lost her own parents and having to pretty much finish raising her brother and sister, Allie was the perfect nanny for princess Theo.

There were also some very fun, and funny scenes. The snowball fight when all the help comes outside and then even the Prince joins in was just wonderful!

Everyone was just perfect in their roles those we loved and those we loved to hate, and in the end Allie melts the hearts of even the meanest of them all! Well all but the jilted almost was fiance lol The set was beautiful, the horses, the decorations, the landscape, the palace and even the clothing was perfect!

I first saw this movie this past July 2022 and I've since watched it at least 3 times and I love it more everytime I see it. I'm pretty sure I'll watch again before this Christmas season is over. If you haven't seen yet, it's well worth an hour or two of your time!

The Royal Nanny
(2022)

Wonderful start to Christmas 2022!
I thought this movie was fantastic. I loved that it was not your usual formulaic Hallmark romance Christmas movie. It had romance, yes, but it also had intrigue and mystery which was very refreshing and always a favorite of mine The acting was great by everyone including the young children. The actress I'm not familiar with but she was so pretty and did a wonderful job of acting, her voice was so pretty and calming. It turns out she isn't even British but her accent was pretty much spot on!!

Hallmark is really hitting it out of the park this Holiday season. So far I thoroughly enjoyed The Royal Nanny, Three Wise men and a Baby, Ghost of Christmas Always and Jolly Good Christmas. All worth a view when/if you have the time to unwind and enjoy a really good movie. Also Great movies this year but not as good in my opinion as the 4 listed above but still enjoyable were Lights, Camera, Christmas, We Wish You a Married Christmas (much better than I thought it was going to be) and Christmas Bedtime Stories.

Christmas Town
(2019)

Absolutely Loved this movie plot holes and all!
This is the first Christmas movie I watched starting this past Christmas in July on Hallmark and I fell so in love with it that I've watched it at least 4 times since and I will probably watch it one more time before this Christmas season is over.

The movie had a couple of very heartwarming storylines and it was so well acted by everyone, especially Candace and Tim Rozon. I've never seen Tim Rozon before but I found him to be a very good actor and so handsome and manly looking. I also loved his slightly raspy voice.

The story was great, the town was somewhere I would love to live and everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas, especially the cafe.

I see that some here found some plot holes that I never once noticed or took so seriously since it's just a movie and you have to suspend disbelief a little so they can make the whole story come together nicely in just an hour or two. We see scenes with different people so let's all assume when they were showing the ladies in the cafe that Candace was busy feeding the darn cat! Lol I'm sorry but for someone to give a great movie a 3,4, or even a 5 because somethings couldn't happen that fast in real life or You didn't see the cat being fed well I honestly don't think we should take those reviews seriously.

This was a very heartwarming, loving, poignant and Christmassy movie that you will really enjoy if you give it a chance.

Three Wise Men and a Baby
(2022)

Fantastic start to this Christmas season!!
I'm new to the Hallmark Christmas movies, I've seen a few here and there throughout the years but I was mostly a mystery series and Signed Sealed Delivered watcher for the most part. Anyway, I started this past July and found they really upped my mood during a very hot, humid, and rainy summer here in Florida, so I've been really looking forward to this year's Christmas movies and so far they have not disappointed!

I loved this movie, I found it to be a perfect 10! It had comedy, romance, beautiful Christmas scenery and most importantly getting to really know and appreciate your family, warts, and all!

Three Wise Men and a Baby and Ghosts of Christmas Always are my top favorites so far this year, (Followed closely by Jolly Good Christmas) mostly because they aren't the same old Hallmark formula they are both Christmasy but still very different than most of the others that are more geared towards romance. Don't get me wrong I love the Romance movies but there are so many of them and so few of these rare, unique movies. Here's hoping Hallmark gives us more of these. Wonderful writing by Paul and Kimberly they need to write a lot more movies for Hallmark!!.

Ghosts of Christmas Always
(2022)

Hallmark hit it out of the park with this movie!
Long time review reader first time poster. I've been meaning to post reviews but always get worried my writing won't be up to par with all the great reviewers here, but for this movie, I just had to post a review because I thought it was absolute perfection!

I'm not going to rehash the plot of the movie as so many have done so much more eloquently than I could I'll just tell you what I liked so much about the movie.

This was a very well written movie, it isn't your usual Hallmark romance Christmas movie, it's much more than that, it was funny, touching, Christmassy, and romantic, it also spreads a very good message if you are blessed and have the means to help others you should, giving will make you feel better, happier, more fulfilled than anything else ever could.

I thought the actors were all fantastic, especially the two leads. Kim Matula is beautiful and just as cute as a button and the lead actor Ian Harding was so handsome I just couldn't take my eyes off of him. I truly hope Hallmark brings these two back for many more movies!

I didn't see the ending coming so it was a wonderful surprise!

This is a movie I can and will rewatch over and over, I've kept in my DVR so sometime during the year when I need a fun pick me up I'll be able to watch it again.

I Loved everything about this movie!

Halloween Wars
(2011)

Thanks Food Network, for ruining a show I so look forward to every year!
I look forward to this time of year so much because of this show and the Halloween baking champions shows but I'm done with this show. Thanks, food network for ruining a wonderful show. NO PUMPKINS?, NO Jonathan?, no guest judge? And No horror show producer/actor? Absolute rubbish! Arti nor Eddie have any business on this show they aren't pastry chefs, they aren't cake or sugar artists and they have nothing to do with the horror genre. To top it all off, as usual, Eddie gets to keep running his mouth while the actual long-time host of the show Shinmin Li has to stand there silently for most of it! The new set is horrible too, I like the professional kitchen with lights so we can see what they are doing. Adding that goofball Zak Bagans via monitor added NOTHING to the show!! It's all just a bake a cake show, now!!! I have removed it from my DVR.
