Take a great TV show and sink it to the lowest level. I wish that the movie had some sort of visual appeal, but no, you get this washed out blue sickening palette throughout the movie. Ever heard of WHITE BALANCE. Storyline boring, unrealistic, fabricated, acting inconsequential and a plot mind numbing. Acting uninspired and where was the Cockney slang? What a waste of time. Poor Ray Winstone, must've needed the money. When does the members of the Flying Squad.of Scotland Yard look like a bunch of street punks? What a boring movie, re-issue, concept. Have I finished describing this movie? Yes!

If you want to see drama, it's easy seeing the original tennis matches on various media platforms. Casting seemed to want Fabio playing against a Bob Dylan lookalike. Formulaic at best. At least the acting was adequate but the casting of McEnroe was embarrassing. This ain't no Ford vs Ferrari or Hunt vs Lauda. I always remember an old film critic asked about baseball movies and his answer was, "Why?" My answer to Borg vs McEnroe is the same.

There is no redeeming feature about this film. You've seen other reviews.about this film. Take heed, they describe it perfectly. What a waste of time. Any student film will surpass this so called motion picture.

What a waste of time. I wonder if Michael Shannon can play or impersonate Elvis Presley? Answer: NO HE CAN'T. Spacey acts like (add any politically incorrect word here). The story is available everywhere and I would advise those pursuits. The only redeeming factor of this movie is the soundtrack.
